JavaScript - Reported Probem With Colorbox Js On My Site

I'm usually pretty good with finding codes on my own,
but it's been a while and I'm pretty stumped.

I am currently working on a new site, and making a new layout.
So on Photoshop, I laid out how I want it to work:

This is how it will look:


Each section of the header, like each color/shape, will be a separate imagemap.
When it is hovered upon, An arrow will move out of the color/shape, and then whatever the link will lead to will appear at the end:

And when the arrow is taken off of it, it will retract back to the color/shape, not just disappear.

Is this possible?
And is it possible that the bar&arrow that come out to also be clickable?
And the text at the end to be clickable text and not just an image?

Any tutorials/website links are welcome, I can usually follow them pretty well.

For school we programmed a game in JavaScript. We uploaded it to the school site (http://graphics.cs.wisc.edu/Courses/...spacewars.html) where it works the way it should. (In Firefox; other browsers don't work as well.)

However, I'm trying to upload the exact same code to my own website (http://www.tessaverbruggen.nl/Games/...spacewars.html), where for some reason it refuses to run and instead crashes the browser. To me it seems like it's stuck in some sort of while-loop. If I run it locally, it works fine (once again, in Firefox, after changing some settings in Firefox).

I program regularly, but I rarely do things web-related. So all the website related stuff was done by others. Which means I have absolutely no idea where to even start debugging. Theoretically it shouldn't be anything in the code as it's the exact same code, and it also runs locally...

Could it be some setting on my website/server? If not, what could it possibly be/where should I look?

Is it possible to make a simple site search where if someone types in an exact keyword then they are taken directly to another page on the site. So the results page is skipped entirely? It's only for a personal site so I can skip directly to a page easily just by typing a keyword in a search box.

I've got the following site that loads great in FF and Chrome (no surprise), but is terribly slow in IE7. It's even quick in IE6, but not 7. Here's the site:

Now I'm using JQuery in a couple places, but it's by no means nothing crazy. The page is fairly simple.

I thought of preloading the main content images, but even after they are loaded in the cycle, the loading time is still slow.

Any suggestions on how I could improve this would be greatly appreciated.

Been looking around for 3 days now, I found exactly the style that I want, have images on my web site, all I need is for someone to show, explain to me how exactly this pagination or whatever it is works, how do i select which actual images from my site or where to be shown in the main window and also the thumbnails below????

So I have this client who has a web form, the form was not made by me, I am debugging it as it has error's it seems. He has had 3 clients in the past two days complain they cannot finish the form, when they get to step 2 and click the button to go from step 2 to 3 they get this error:

Now to me that looks to be JS, but there is no way at all to replicate it! I have tried this same procedure in IE6(XP), IE8(XP), Chrome, FF and it never happens to me ever.

I am pretty sure it's JS related since the form is never reloaded for each page, it's a JS tab paging system for each step.

Now he did finally get answer's from two of the 3 that had problems. They only said they were using IE on Windows Vista. And user's are not the most techie so I have been trying for two days to get info from them and nothing, info like IE version and what toolbar's and plugins they might have installed. Nothing.

So I am left here at this point. Does anyone know of anything related in Vista?

I don't have Vista so I cannot test this. I am testing right now on 7 with IE8 and then upgrading it to IE9 to test on 7 with IE9.

It's on step two, you get to step 2 by finishing step 1 and clicking on "Complete Application" to go to step 2. It's when clicking on the button to continue from step 2 to 3 that it happens.

As I said I cannot seem to duplicate this in any way.

I was hoping someone had Vista and IE to test for me, since your a coder you can screenshot for me the error and what happens, maybe that will help ha ha

Or maybe this has happened to someone before, the form seems to be using Dojo as it's FW.
