Let's say that contentLenght equals 9. Then I need a div showing 6 elements an another sowing 3 elements. If contentLenght equals 7, I need a div showing 6 elements an another showing one element. If the value of contentLenght is 18, then I need three divs containing 6 elements each.. and so on. Now the paging itself: if I have just one div there's no need for paging, but if I have two of more I have to show the page's numbers. Then when a number is clicked the present div must hide and the div containing the elements for the page number should show. Am I right with the approach? I was about to paste some code but the only way I've come out with the six to six paging is with a long if else structure, and I'm sure there's a smarter way of doing it. Hi, excuse I'm not a js coder..I need to control the end of a gallery made with mootools and noobslide (http://www.efectorelativo.net/laboratory/noobSlide/). I need the autoplay gallery to end in another way: Solution 1(difficult): After the last image, the gallery starts again from the first image without that "backward" effect. I'd like the first image to be placed after the last one, so the gallery loops without let the user know that it is starting again Solution 2 (easy, I suppose) : gallery stops at the last image Please HELP ME!! I would like the js to force vertical scrolling to be default first, then if then is no vertical scrolling or if it runs out then the horizontal scrolling takes over. Currently it seems to occur in reverse order. For example if you go to one of the posts individual pages that are long: http://thezombiesurvivalist.tumblr.c...esh-in-n-y-l-a then it will scroll left and right before scrolling up and down. I'd rather it be the other way around. Is this code able to be changed to accommodate my desires? Hi, Im having a weird issue... I am using position absolute to stick a table header to the top of a div. In the screenshot, under the menu is a div, the buttons and drop downs are at the "top" and grid starts from half way down, now when user scrolls till header is out of view i show the header at the "top" with position absolute. then when user scrolls back down and onto original position the buttons and drop downs are now again at the top exactly at the position where the header was shown, once the header has been shown all the buttons and the drop down are no longer clickable, i.e. there is no reaction, no dropdown shown and no click... whats happening is that IE is thinking that that area at the top where the header was is now invalid, or still occupied by the header or something like that? Its like the buttons and drop downs are kind of "behind" the area where the header was therefore nothing is clickable... And proof of this is that i gave some <BR> spacing to the buttons and drop downs so that they are not at the up most, but halfway down... and things work fine... whats IE up to? or is there some coding i need to do... below is the code for the header to float [it may be coz when the header is not to be shown i set the position to ' ', but i have tried with relative, fixed and static as well to no avail...] Code: <script language="javascript" type="text/javascript">

Hello, Is there any way I can prevent IE from displaying the "active X controls and script prevention message" when I load my web page into the browser. Firefox, Safari and Chrome, allow my scripts to run without displaying the message when the page is loaded into the respective browsers. Any tips would be really useful. He has a list of products that link to relevant individual pages which also have next and previous buttons to browse all the product pages on the site (only 10 so no big deal). However, he wants to add additional lists that recommend products by category preference? So for example; 4 products may appeal to a particular category, but when you click the link to view one of the products shown the next and previous buttons scroll through the entire products pages! and not only the ones recommended?? IS it possible using Javascript to define which pages are linked to as next previous without having to create lots more html copies of content pages? Need Help with Spry Menu Bar This is the site I am working on: http://www.alpinelakesair.com/newsite/index.php To quickly summarize: (without getting into the *why* of things) - the website has only two pages: 1=index.php, 2=charter-flights.php - the homepage links to specific tabs within the spry region of the main menu bar, which is located on page the 2nd page. - all the sub pages of the site are located within the spry content of the spry tabs of the menu bar (this is so the header image never has to reload) So, the idea goes that you click on the tabs of the home page and it brings you to the 2nd page with the corresponding menu bar item already highlighted. The pages work in Safari and Firefox on my Mac - but - when you try click on the first four tabs from the homepage in Internet Explorer it doesn't open any content. If you click on the last three tabs it opens content - but all the content, and the sub-spry regions do not work... I am new to spry, so if you help please make your answers for someone with a little but not much spry knowledge. Please let me know if more information is needed.. I'm currently in the process of putting together a site and before I get too much further I had a few Spry related questions (hope this is the correct forum for such questions). Please bear with me if my questions seem plentiful or ignorant. First off, here's the current progress of the site in question: http://thedeadhamster.com/testing/index.htm As you can (hopefully) see, upon the site's loading the header does some slide in animations. This animation would only animate on the home page; all linked pages would have a static header. While I think it looks rather nice I'm actually hesitant to use it. Here's a few of my concerns, perhaps some of you know of some possible solutions: I can't seem to get the images to animate when they're just div backgrounds. As such, I'm using image tags to make up the header which unfortunately adds the images into the HTML structure itself and doesn't really seem "good practice". Or am I simply missing something? The images sometimes "flash" on screen prior to animating, a result of the browser loading the images before the Spry coding I assume. Any simple workaround to that? Should I just forget animating the header and settle for a static background image header instead? Aka, is this more trouble than it's worth? Any thoughts or suggestions are most welcome, I appreciate any help you guys graciously throw my way. Thanks! I've built a site with DW4 and the spry menus are not working. they worked for a little while and then I changed something in the JS menu on the template and now none of the spry works on my site. also, I imbedded a google gadget and that didn't show up either! any help would be appreciated. thx: Hi, I am having problem in validating my form using spry tools. The problem is that if I try to include any other validation other than spry along with spry validation the spry validation does not work. Plzz tell a possible solution Hello, trying to cooperate with Spry atm, and its going fairly ok.. Its just one thing, i would like it when you open one spry panel, the rest of them would close.
