JavaScript - Drop Down List With Array Values
hi, i am currently working on aptana stuidio Nokia WRT to create a mobile widget.
the projects requires the retrieval of data from a database. I've created a java servlet in eclipse to connect and execute query to the database. In aptana, i'm using js file and html file. i am able to connect to the servlet, process the data (split it) and store in an array to display the retrieved data on screen. But now i am facing problems to put the retrieved data (array) into a drop down list for selection. can i do it in a js file? thanks =) Similar TutorialsHi, I doing my project in Netbeans, and I have this .java page, that sets and gets a html form where there are textboxes and drop down lists, as far as I know, although getElementById() is a javascript code, it can be used in my .java page, but I do not know how to implement it. This form on the left and right work perfectly, but they have two ridiculously long drop down lists, which would be the "ProgramOfInterest" fields (please use the following values preselected in this form) http://www.nationalcollegesearch.org..._pingpost.html On this form, I tried creating a triple drop down list setup to clean up the older, long lists in this example, but it doesn't pass the values properly. It also seems to not duplicate the new drop down triple drop lists properly as in the original form. You can change the values in the drop downs in the forms to see what I mean. Hi, I'm trying to find out the min and max values of randomly generated values in a array list. Its a checkout system that randomly add a customer to a queue and does the same to remove a customer depending on a randomly generated number. Ive managed to figure out the mean of the queue but can only display the total values added to the list rather than display when the queue was at it biggest value. Hello All, I am trying to create a three drop down lists for my job. The three drop downs would be: Degree Type (certificate, associate's, bachelor's, etc) Category (Arts & Humanities, Automotive, Computers & IT etc.) Program (Desktop Publishing, Automotive Technician Training, Network Systems, etc.) The Category list needs to be dependent on the degree type and the Program list needs to be dependent on the Category list. I need to have values that will submit to my form but ONLY for the Program List. For example: <option value="CECS">Cisco</option> <option value="CEIT">Information Technology (General)</option> <option value="CEMS">Microsoft</option> <option value="CENSYS">Network Systems</option> Please note that I must use these program codes as values and I cannot use the option name as the value. This does not have to look good, it just needs to work as it is for internal use only within my company. This form will never be used by random web surfers. I use a ticketing website at a call center. When the user selects small the topping price is $0.75 each, when the user selects medium the topping price is $1.00 each, when the user selects large the topping price is $1.25 each, and when the user selects extra large the topping price is $1.25 each. I the problem is no matter what size the user selects the topping price is always $0.75. i am not able to find the error Please help me Thank you in advance I wish to get the values for the 3rd and 4th cell of each row where these contain drop down menus. I've tried various ways but my code doesn't seem to iterate through rows of a table. I can get the values for the first row, but not the rest. There's isn't a fixed row size for the table as the user will be able to add and delete them. I've put the values in separate arrays but instead of the array containing say [10, 20] it contains [10, 10] as it just duplicates the first row's values.
