JavaScript - Not Writing To A Input Element
Javascript (inside a function that everything works except this bit):

Here is the live page so you can see it: http://www.sandcrawler.net/forum/sandnet.php?page=test2 What this is for is an upload script, I have all the upload bit working, but now I need to find a way to pass the filename to my php script, that will then sort the files out into two types, screenshot and compressed. Then insert them into a mysql database. I've gotten this same type of thing to work on a w3school TryIt demo, with the variables set the same way. So I can't figure out where there is an error. Then I have a radio button that will add (different amounts based on selection) to that price before it is written. Then I have another radio button that just needs to write a price based on its selection. Both of these values will be written and then totaled. I am fairly confident that I can program the second part (totaling) if I can only get the selections to populate the different prices for me. If someone could point me in the right direction I would be very grateful! In fact: does input type=image belong to the form's elements collection, in ECMAScript ? It looks like not. When traversing the form's elements collection with classical javascript (document.forms[formname].elements), an input type="image" is not included. Is this an inheritance from old browsers interpretors? Does anyone know the reason for this omission? Hi, I'm relativly new to JS and brand new to the forum so you might need to dumb down your replys for my slightly lacking knowledge. That being said I do have a very solid grasp of html, css and am getting there with JS and its various frameworks. I'm integrating wordpress into an existing site for a friend and currently have the main blog page appear in a DIV. This is the best way to integrate in this case due to many reasons mostly of way the site is constructed. The simple answer to this would be to have them just open in a new page, which I can easily do with the below code. I am thinking this should be fairly easy but yet I am not getting far. I want to have a form with a single text imput field for a zip code. Depending on which zip code the user enters will determine which url they will be sent to. If they enter a zip code which is not in the script, they would be sent to a default url. The problem is with line with <embed> tag. My purpose is to open a swf flash in a new popup window such that it must have a Pretty title name (instead of its addresss). Since opening that SWF directly does not leave me the option of change the popup title , so I use the above method... I appreciate much if you can help ! |
