JavaScript - Auto Submit After Time Out
i need a function that count down until zero. how could i make it auto submit which is very important for me and accepts the choices which are as radio buttons instead of waiting for users to push submit button.

What I want to do is send an item to the cart 'automatically', that is without the user actually filling a form or pressing a 'submit' button. What I send to the cart will be dependant upon the value of a cookie that will have been set at some earlier point in the session. My plan was to use document.write statements to build the 'form' and send it to the shopping cart... 'here is your COOKIEVALUE product' what i was going to try here was "here is your" + COOKIEVALUE + "product" which doesn't work - but that's what I'm trying to achieve. 2) 2nd problem is the submit 'button' needs to be an automatic 'invisible' action - i don't actually want to give them a button to click i just want to submit it from the coding. After the user logs out, the "username" and the "logout" links will change to "login" and "register" links, respectively. The page uses javascript to check a user cookie, if the user cookie exists, it will show the "username" link and the link for "logout". If no user cookie exists, "login" and "register" links will replace the "username" and "logout" links. Here's the problem: When a user who has log in, clicks the "logout" link, a perl script will delete the user cookie, and redirects back to the same page. The page does not show "login" and "register" links AUTOMATICALLY. Both links will appear ONLY after the user MANUALLY Refreshes the page. It appears that I need a system to refresh the page automacally ONLY one time. How can this be done? Thanks for any help with this he everyone please i want to know how to submit a form using ajax every 5 minutes without reloading page i have a huge form for exams and i need to submit the form without the need to wait until pressing submit because the user may wait to think about the answer a very long time.. so i want to submit the form and at the same time i cant reload the page as it is in normal submit form.. so how i can submit form in the background without letting the user knows that the form is submitted??? can anyone help me change this script to add confirmation of finishing the exam when pressing submit button and avoiding that when time is out....and how could i save radio button checked even if page being refreshed it stays checked....thanks in advance. this is the code.... here ind==1 is from_time and ind==2 is to_time,i need to validate time as to_time must be always greater than from-time,if condition fails an alert msg should populate.time format is[05:00]as it is in string format im unable to do the validation for it.(ex:from-time=08:00 to-time=07:59 condition fails) thank you. I am looking to add a script to a webpage that allows users to input a time manually, and have it converted to GMT/Zulu time and display the converted time. I have seen a lot of time zone conversion scripts online, but they all just convert whatever the current system time is to another time zone. I am looking for a script that allows users to convert a time and show the zulu time, for times other than the current time. The time zone the inputed local time would be in is +4:30 (Kabul). I don't really care about style or aestehtics, just a simple script I can insert into a web page to have a time input field. The converted output time can appear in another field, a popup bubble, etc, again style isn't really an issue. It's really just to help people in my job who need to know what the GMT/Zulu time was for certain local times after the fact. I want to submit a hidden field when you click on an image button, rather than it being an actual submit button.
