JavaScript - Thumbnail Image Select Missing Href For Lightbox

Hi,

I'm new here and trying to get some basics via examples.

I have thumbnails in a table.
Immediately below the table is a full sized image of thumb 1.
I want to mouseover the thumbs and have the respective full size images swap.
The thumbs remain as is.

All the thumbs are the same file as the full size image but resized.

If moused over, the new image should remain until the next thumb is moused over - ie no autoclose or return to original image.
The viewer should be able to move around the page without having the image change til the next mouseover

All the images are the same size

Can someone offer or direct me to a script that will do this?

i found a tutorial for doing the lightbox image viewer...and the link and demo is given below..
can someone tell me how do i replace the image with text in the lightbox....i mean when we hit on the image what shud i do to display text instead of image....hit on the image in the site and it will display an image....

I have added an image rotator to my website using Java Script. The box for the rotator shows up on the published site but not the pictures. When I click on the box it links to the pictures I have added, and I know they are rotating because it changes every time I click on it. Also, the code does not seem to be showing up when I view the source of the page. Hi,

I'm have set up a gallery site, pretty standard stuff with thumbnails to the right and big image to the left. I would like to add a fade in on the big image when the thumbnail is clicked and don't really know how to implement it.
The big images are contained in a div called <#left> while the thumbs are within a div called <div class="gallery">

I have searched Google and these forums for a solution but haven't had any luck...can anyone help me out with this?

First off thank you in advance to whomever decides to help out. I am having an issue where I am using lightbox, however what is showing up is a text link "Request Email." I understand how to manipulate this text to say anything I want. However, I am having difficulty changing the text link to an image.

Instead of the text, I want to have an image (button) stored on my server http://www.something.com/something.jpeg be the link to click on instead of the text. It seems this would be easy to accomplish, but I cant figure it out. It anybody can send me in the right direction it would be appreciated.

I am very new for javascript so I am not even sure it is possible or not.

The situation is like this,

I have a page, which is actually a photo gallery with a table having 3 rows. First row shows the full screen size pic. Second row displays the Caption of that image and third row shows thumbnail view of six different images and the previous and next button.

this is the sample layout:

My requirement is whenever the user click on the thumbnail view, which is in the 3rd row, the corresponding full screen size pic should open in 1st row of the table.
As my photo gallery should be having more than 6 pics, lets take 20 pics, I want to show only 6 thumbnails in 3rd row at a time. Whenever user press "Next" button the 3rd row having 6 thumbnails should show other 6 thumbnails and previous button should show previous 6 thumbnails.

I have a guess that it can be done using arrays, but how????? I have no idea. So please if you have any guesses it will be nice if you can post the entire code here as I will not be in a position to work on the hints given by you.

When you click on the text area, a clickable image, with a 50% black opacity background overlay, and an exit either through a link or clicking outside of the box, shows up.

I want to accomplish the same thing, but have the image popup show up on the page load instead of requiring a click of the text area. In addition, I would like this popup only once to each IP address; ie, if you visit a page on my site, this will show up, but if you close it and refresh the page or visit another page on the site a cookie will be stored that knows its already been opened once and it won't try to do it again.

I'm using Joomla 1.5 and VirtueMart for my e-shop. I've also installed a virtuemart template which loads mootools.

Well in my virtuemart product detail pages, if you click the main image to make it enlarged using IE8 it will not open and return a JS error instead (found it using Firebug): http://goo.gl/6lQCV

I'm not sure but I think that if I fix the JS errors on these pages the problem will be solved and the images will open normally. Note that on all other browsers it works fine (Firefox, Chrome, Safari, IE9).

The page returns some other errors too but they're the whole time there. I think there's a conflict caused by all the JS libraries loaded by my Plugins (System - RokBox & YOOeffects), Joomla template, VirtueMart & VirtueMart template (jquery and mootools are both loaded).

This works perfectly when I visit http://www.domain.com/folder but I do not want it to match any subfolders beneath /folder, for example:

etc.

Does anyone know how I can modify the code to only match /folder or /folder/ and no subfolders beneath it?

Hello, I just joined the forum. I'm hoping someone could help me out or point me in the right direction.

I am trying to set up a simple interaction for users. The user would be required to select a width then height from two separate drop down menus. I used this as an example to work from: http://www.w3.org/TR/WCAG20-TECHS/wo...dynselect.html

The list of heights would not be available until the user selects a width.(similar to the example link above). Each width would have slightly different heights associated with it. After the user selects a width then height an image would be displayed based on that combination. So for example if the user selects 12w/30h they would see "01.jpg" if the user selects 12w/36h they would see "02.jpg". This would all be done on the same page. The user should be able to update the image by combining the different width/height options indefinitely.

If anyone has a link to an example or can provide a basic structure I could build of off I would be extremely grateful, thanks.

I am hoping you guys can help me with this issue. What I am trying to do is fairly simple, depending on what option you select in the menu I want the picture to change to different picture. The code that I posted below works perfectly except for one problem. I need the option value to display the color name, and not have the image code in it. I have researched ways to do this without having to use "value" but I just can't find one that works. Can someone please help me?
