JavaScript - Mustache.js - Wanting To Make Something Better Formatted..
So I'm picking up on a project that was left off by another developer. He developed the search engine for this website using mustache.js as a templating plugin. However, I have this giant if/else statement in the Javascript to implement it in the template.. but it's ugly in my opinion so I'm curious on if anybody has a better way of going about this. Thank you for any ideas on how to make it prettier.. the item_type is what's terrifying ugly to me. Similar TutorialsBeen working my *** off on this for a few days trying to keep updating it to make it most efficient with everything I learn... I'm quite proud of it so far considering I'm not actually the best coder lol most JS and PHP confuses the crap outa me unless I do it from scratch. So anyways here is the link. Visitors enter information in textarea's and form fields and I wish to allow them to have this spell checked before submitting. What methods are open to me to do this. I'm a bit confused as to how to use the getDay() function. I have an input field with a date in the following format 12.06.2012 and I'd like to run the function to get the day of the week from any date in that input field. All the examples I have found using getDay(), do so from a new Date() and not from one existing in an input field. Also my format is not the usual 06/12/2012. Any help appreciated. Hi guys! I have a situation where 2 scripts run perfectly when run independently - the first one loads up a "video", running at 30 fps, made up of images, the second one uses accelerometer data from the iPhone to throw a blue sphere around the screen, depending on movement of the iPhone. However, when I put these 2 scripts inside one HTML page, the "video" runs, but the blue sphere is "frozen" - but the scripts are still the same (one inside the head, as before, and the other in the body, again as before) How can I get them to run in a parallel way? This app works as a URI and can be triggered to run in an address bar, when launched it will launch the app. Now, I can get this script to run in Firefox; it will test for the URI and if not avail it will redirect to the site website of that app. However when I run this in IE it will just load a page that says the site is in valid and not redirect. Anyone have any tips on how to get this working in IE. ALSO in addition this will not run in Safari either; same issue as IE.
