JavaScript - Can Javascript Specify The Magnification Of A Page?

Morning Guys,

i have a little issue i need to tackle and i belive Javascript is the way forward on this, so looking for some pointers/help on the idea i have in mind.

so basically i have a website and its going to be selling severall products.

now i have a "Global" navigation which stays the same on every page throughout the website.

now obviously if this is set into the master template all the links will be the same.

1 of my links will be a "buy now" button, i want this to never need changing but i want the link to direct to the correct purchasing page depending on which product is being described in the content area...

so im guessing its going to need to fetch some sort of Value/Variable out the content and then use that to redirect to the correct page via that single "buy now" button..

any ideas or input

I am very new to Javascript and am having some difficulties with implementing two forms on the same page.

The page in question is http://www.devoteddomains.com/contac...ed-domains.asp.

The form at the top appears on every page and works on all of the other pages except this one. When you try to complete the form it validates the second form on the page.

The code for the top form can be found he http://www.devoteddomains.com/web-de...vices-cta.html (it is an include file).

The two scripts that I am using are as follows:

I need some help here..

I have a page that has a grid on it and I have a hidden div(below the grid). When the link is clicked inside the grid it opens the hidden div using the following code for the link in the grid.

Here is my code with the PHP id that I need to pass

Hay guys, here is my problem.
I need to make Javascript code which will enable me to search my page for key words.The particular page consists of nearly 30 scinetific achivements, all sorted by the scinetists that are responisbile for those acihevemnets.You can say that the page consists of 30 paragraphs.What i should do, is make a javasrpit code that searches the page by putting in a key word, finding all the paragraphs with that keyword, and then displaying only those paragraphs, while hiding all the other ones which don't have that key word.Im not really sure if this should happen in a pop up window, on the same page or new page, but the overall format must be the same as it was on the original page with 30 paragraphs( like displeying the same page but with only, for example, 3-4 paragraphs).

I dont expect anyone to write me the whole code, but any hint or advise would be helpfull.Also if anyone knows of any code here on this forum, or somewhere on the web which might help me, I'd apprecite if u would give me the link.

The website I'm updating is peachbasketonline.com. I am not the original web designer.

I'm trying to reach an install page that is located in the directory, but anytime I go to a page outside of the site navigation (i.e. part of site navigation: About Us works fine, versus a page outside of site navigation: peachbasketonline.com/anythingelse) it automatically takes you back to the home page.

Is there enough info here for someone to tell me if javascript is doing this? I just don't know what I'm looking for.

I'm using the service from Maxmind to get user's postal code, what I wanna do is pass the value to the next page using GET function.. I am quite new to PHP, however I think I should name the variable first and call it on the next page right? But it doesn't seem to work.

I have a tab that scrolls through images in a frame through javascript. It works in one page, but not the other. I'm trying to get the page not working to work, obviously. I also have checked and temporarily fixed validation errors, and that doesn't help.

i have a code where if you press on a word some words disappear and new ones appear and then when you press on the word again everything goes back to normal. I am trying to get it so that after the first click if i press back it should go back to normal instead of having to press the word again but all i am getting at the moment when i press back is the the page with the changed text.

I am developing my personal website!
And I am trying to implement it with JS completely. which means I need the page to be one front end page.
But the back-end pages would be the ones which do the work and calculations!
In other words and more explaination:
I would like to have one "index.php" page that contains only a nav bar which handles the mission.
Once the page load it loads with the content of "home.php" (the landing page) if the "contact" tab is clicked then I would like to load the "ContactMe.php" page content.
I have done this already! but the problem is:
"home.php" uses alot of javascript functions and jquery plug-ins. when I load it, it looks messy that you think the JS is disabled in your machine :-\
Note: the loading has been done with those methods: .load(), $.ajax! -> same results!

The conclusion:
* "home.php"
* "ContactMe.php"
* "About.php"
Is it possible to load those pages in the "index.php" and still have their JS functions function correctly and display as if they were accessed individually?

The goal that I am trying to achieve is that I make my whole website for the visitor as "One Page Site"! I am challenging myself with it though!

Please Note that I have only put the <html><head><body> tags in the index.php and removed them from the back-end pages such as home.php, contactme.php and about.php! for that sake that it works correctly! but with no hope!

I'm trying to code a website that will read data from an Excel file (stored either locally or elsewhere) and input a row of data (searched based on a Drop-Down List) into a table on the web page itself. Every time I open the page (it's currently stored on my local drive, on a laptop running Windows 7) in IE8, though, I get the error "Automation Server Can't Create Object" and nothing happens. The Excel file doesn't get opened and the table is blank. Thing is, though, I tried opening the same web page on another computer with IE6 and Windows 2000, and the Script works perfectly there.

I've been searching for a solution to this for a week, and some people suggested elsewhere that it's a problem with IE8's security settings. I lowered them as far as they'll go and enabled Running the Script Not Marked As Safe for all possible zones, same result, the Script refuses to run with the "Automation Server Can't Create Object" error. Here's the applicable lines of code:

I'm completely stumped, everyone. Is it some obscure setting I'm forgetting to check in IE8, is my Java not fully updated, or what is it? Again, it works perfectly on my old Windows 2000 w/ IE6 computer, but not on a recent Windows 7 laptop with IE8. I'd appreciate any help.

Sobi directory and gavick photoslide. The problem is that the photoslideshow is not loading only on the page witht he directory. I did a little investaged and got a error console for firefox and it showing this error:
