JavaScript - List/menu A:visited ??
I am looking for something that works like this list/menu.
Code: <html> <head> <title> trial </title> <script type="text/javascript"> function go(a) { c=document.getElementById("hidden").value; if(c!="") { document.getElementById(c).className="black"; } b=document.getElementById(a).value; document.getElementById(b).className="red"; document.getElementById("hidden").value=b; } </script> <style type="text/css"> .black {color: #000000;} .red {color: #c00;} </style> </head> <body> <select id="blue" onchange="go(this.id)"> <option value="1" id="1">1</option> <option value="2" id="2">2</option> <option value="3" id="3">3</option> <option value="4" id="4">4</option> <option value="5" id="5">5</option> <option value="6" id="6">6</option> </select> <input type="hidden" id="hidden" value=""> </body> </html> This code does not work "correctly" in IE It does work "correctly" in Firefox I need something that will work "correctly" in IE and Firefox I have looked high and low but have come up with nothing.... Also I don't know if it is possible but I would like to find something that changes the font color of every previous selection that has been made not just the last one. Has any one seen anything like that???? Similar Tutorialsi need help on designing a drop down list menu. this rolls down and shows other list of options to click on. i work in dreamweaver so javascripts and others can be incorporated. thanks all I wanted a custom look for my list menu. Here is what I came up with... http://schrene.web44.net/List-Menu.html I created it using divs with text overflow to get the scroll bar. Here is my code Code: <div id="colorList"> <center> <div class="mySelect" onClick="myFunction()">Abalone</div> <div class="mySelect" onClick="myFunction()">Acorn</div> <div class="mySelect" onClick="myFunction()">Adobe</div> <div class="mySelect" onClick="myFunction()">Allspice</div> <div class="mySelect" onClick="myFunction()">Antarctica</div> <div class="mySelect" onClick="myFunction()">Anthracite</div> <div class="mySelect" onClick="myFunction()">Aqualite</div> <div class="mySelect" onClick="myFunction()">Arctic Blueberry</div> <div class="mySelect" onClick="myFunction()">Arctic Ice</div> <div class="mySelect" onClick="myFunction()">Arctic Lime</div> <div class="mySelect" onClick="myFunction()">Cilantro</div> <div class="mySelect" onClick="myFunction()">Cinnabar</div> <div class="mySelect" onClick="myFunction()">Clam Shell</div> <div class="mySelect" onClick="myFunction()">Clove</div> <div class="mySelect" onClick="myFunction()">Cobalt</div> <div class="mySelect" onClick="myFunction()">Cocoa Brown</div> <div class="mySelect" onClick="myFunction()">Concrete</div> <div class="mySelect" onClick="myFunction()">Copperite</div> <div class="mySelect" onClick="myFunction()">Cottage Lane</div> <div class="mySelect" onClick="myFunction()">Designer White</div> <div class="mySelect" onClick="myFunction()">Doeskin</div> <div class="mySelect" onClick="myFunction()">Dove</div> <div class="mySelect" onClick="myFunction()">Earth</div> </center> </div> It worked great but it loses the scroll bar on iPhone. I want something that works for mobile web as well as traditional.. Does anybody have any ideas how to create a list menu like this??? Any help would greatly be appreciated Hi all, I am having problems with a script 'Cut & Paste CSS Horizontal List Menu' from http://www.javascriptkit.com/script/...stopmenu.shtml It works on my site with Firefox but not IE 8. My site url is http://www.bridgepoint-llp.co.uk/ I would be grateful for any help anyone could supply I've ran the entire code through a javascript debugger a few times and I believe I weeded out the obvious errors. Also I believe I fixed some of the more hidden errors that one can't find with even the best debuggers.. Still it doesn't perform like it should? I found other scripts that do the same thing, but it defeats the purpose of me fixing it if I just write up a new code, even if it's easier. What make it hard for me to digest is it is somewhat complex compared to other codes that do the exact same thing. Any help? Also attached a zip file for those who want to see it externally.. Hi Everyone, I have a small doubt in jsp coding..I want to disable certain links on user login. These links come under a menu list. Clarifying more on this..I have created a web application which has got a login page..After login it redirects me to my home page..now when an administrator logs in he/she should be able to view all links on the menu list whereas when an user logs in he/she should only view a certain number of links based on his/her privileges..how can i write this code. Can anyone help me?? Its really really urgent!!!!!!!!!! please................ Hi... I did the Cut & Paste CSS Vertical List Menu, but I have an issue with submenus... What I am trying to do is fairly simple, depending on what option you select in the menu I want the picture to change to different picture. The code that I posted below works perfectly except for one problem. I need the option value to display the color name, and not have the image code in it. I have researched ways to do this without having to use "value" but I just can't find one that works. Can someone please help me? Thanks in advance for any help given! Code: function changeimg(){ document.getElementById('colors').src=document.getElementById('color_dropdown_options').value } Code: <label> <select name="color" class="dropdown_options" id="color_dropdown_options" onchange="changeimg()"> <option value="/images/thumbnails/image1.jpg">White</option> <option value="/images/thumbnails/image2.jpg">Blue</option> <option value="/images/thumbnails/image3.jpg">Green</option> </select> </label> Code: <div id="display"><img src="/images/thumbnails/image1.jpg" width="270" height="382" alt="" id="colors" /> Hi all again, Firstly thanks to Philip M for getting me this far but i still have a few quirks that i'd like to get around. Its a price generator with 3 options. User selects an option from a drop down, inputs "number of words" and hey-presto the price appears. That works superbly well but what would be really cool is if after someone gets a price they then would like to select a different option in order to see a new price. At the moment it means selecting another option and re-entering the number of words and then clicking in the price box to get the new result. Is there anyway to make that price change automatically (as if by magic even) if either the "option" or "number of words" is changed I have a sneaky suspicion that Philip M will come to the rescue again but should anyone else have a view that would be great also. Thanks as always in advance, Phil Code: <head> <!--quote generator --> <script type="text/javascript"> function update(){ var price = document.getElementById("Package").value; var words = document.getElementById("words").value; var wordsOver2000 = words-2000; if (wordsOver2000 <0) {wordsOver2000 = 0} words = words - wordsOver2000; var Tprice = ((price * words) + (price * .80 * wordsOver2000)).toFixed(2) ;document.getElementById("Totprice").value = Tprice; document.getElementById("Totprice2").innerHTML = "Your Quote Total Is: MYR" + Tprice } </script> <!--end quote generator --> </head> Code: <body> <!--quote generator --> <div align="center" class="generator"> PACKAGE - <select name="Package" id = "Package"> <option value="0.027">Economy</option> <option value="0.038">Standard</option> <option value="0.049">Express</option> </select> No. of Words - <input type="text" id="words" onchange="update()" value="" /> ---> MYR <input type = "text" id = "Totprice" value="...then click here" /><br /> <br /><strong>(NB - To see a quote for a different package, please select package and re-enter the number of words)</strong> </div> <!--end quote generator --> </body> Hi all. I hope that everyone is fine and doing well. This is something of an annual visit for me. You guys helped me enormously with the code below. It is a price quote generator that takes a number (entered by the client) and depending on the package selected, produces a price quote. As I said, it works really well, but it's time for me to expand my business overseas. At the moment, I display the price as a single currency, but I would like for clients to be able to select (maybe from a drop down list in the answer field) any one of 4 different currencies (i.e., GBP, USD, EURO, MYR). The different exchange rates don't need to be up to the minute accurate. I'm quite happy to go in to the code and update them weekly or as required. I have attempted to research different ways of doing this, but as my needs are quite unusual and my brain really can't wrap around the ins and outs of java script, i'm here again begging with my cap in hand for help. To see this code in action as it stands, please go to www.grammarproofing.com Code: <head> <!--quote generator --> <script type="text/javascript"> function update(){ var price = document.getElementById("Package").value; var words = document.getElementById("words").value; if (words != "") { words = parseInt(words); if (isNaN (words)) { alert ("Please enter the number of words in figures"); document.getElementById("words").value = ""; return false; } } var wordsOver2000 = words-2000; if (wordsOver2000 <0) {wordsOver2000 = 0} words = words - wordsOver2000; var Tprice = ((price * words) + (price * .95 * wordsOver2000)).toFixed(2) ;document.getElementById("Totprice").value = Tprice; document.getElementById("Totprice2").innerHTML = "Your Quote Total Is: MYR" + Tprice } </script> <!--end quote generator --> </head> Code: <body> <!--start quote generator --> <div class="quote" id="quote"> <select name="Package" id = "Package" onchange = "update()"> <option value="0.052">STUDENTS THE 11th HOUR PACKAGE</option> <option value="0.041">STUDENTS EXPRESS PACKAGE</option> <option value="0.035" selected="selected">STUDENTS WORK in PROGRESS PACKAGE</option> </select> x <input type="text" id="words" onchange="update()" value="" /> WORDS<br /> = MYR <input type = "text" id = "Totprice" readonly /> </div> <!--end quote generator --> </body> Thanks in advance for any help offered. Regards as always, Phil How can i make counter for my site that will alert how many visitors had been before every new Visiting? <script type="text/javascript" > function counter(incrimentbyone){ // IF i make var i=0 everytime alert will be 1 and like this alert is "NaN" var i=i+incrimentbyone; alert(i); } </script> <body onLoad="counter(1)"> . . My website with "ideas for education" will have two sitemaps -- a diagram, and a text-outline -- each located in the left i-frame, with links opening in the right i-frame. My homepage promises that each sitemap will "show where where you've been (green links), where you are (red highlighting), and where you can go (blue links) in your explorations." . . The diagram-sitemap uses "swap images" (with code written by Dreamweaver) and 14 gifs, each with a red rectangle behind one of the 14 main links. (But it doesn't have green visited-links to show "where you've been.") . . In my text-sitemap, red-highlighting a visited link was easy, again by using DW's javascript tools. But this makes every visited link retain its red background, until the page re-loads. My goal is to red-highlight ONLY the last-visited link, to clearly show "where you are" in the sitemap. . . In one attempt to remove the red, I tried forcing a page-reload onMouseDown (with DW's "Go to URL") but DW refuses to recognize the sitemap's iframe (named "left") so it can only load the text-sitemap into a top-frame instead of the left iframe of its frameset. And this reload would be an awkward solution anyway, especially if a user has scrolled the page so the cursor would have to be moved back to the link for the onMouseUp part of clicking a link. . . A more elegant solution, found in a web-search, claims that "You can put an onclick event in all your links and then when the user clicks on a link, you can use the onclick event to call a function that changes that link's color to, say, green; and then uses the 'links' array to change all the other links to another color. The 'this' keyword can be used to identify the current link." . . This sounds promising, and JS-experts will see the two bold steps -- to "put..." and then "use..." -- and say "this is easy." But for me, doing these steps is a mystery I haven't solved. Some clues are below, gathered from various sources, but I don't know how to put it all together. A solution requires that everything is coded exactly the way it must be, with no mistakes, and I don't know how to do this. . . Here are some "pieces of the puzzle" that might be useful: . . Each sitemap has three areas, symbolized by colored page-backgrounds -- light blue & light green & yellow -- DDEEFF, DDFFEE, and FFFFBB. The js-code below, made in DW, works to change a link with red-background (from a previous link-click) to blue-background (onMouseDown) and back to red-background (onMouseUp). Code: <a href="blue1.htm" target="self" onMouseDown=" MM_effectHighlight (this, 1, '#DDEEFF', '#DDEEFF', '#DDEEFF', false)" onMouseUp=" MM_effectHighlight (this, 4000, '#DDEEFF', '#FF9999', '#FF9999', false)"> blue, then red</a> . . This works. But the challenge is to change OTHER links (not "this") from red to a color (blue, green, or yellow) that matches the page-background of the area where each link is. And for this I'm failing in two ways. First, I don't know how to make the link being clicked ("this") change the background-color of other links, by ""using the 'links' array to change all the other links to another color." Second, if I want to make three color changes (from red back to blue, or to green, or to yellow) the triple-change code below, which is the code above but with the onMouseDown line repeated 3 times, doesn't work in DW: [a comment added January 7: I've now abandoned this triple-change idea, and instead I want all links changed (onMouseDown) to a GOLD background-highlighting in a link-rectangle that surrounds each of the 14 main-topic links, but not the 40 sub-topic links.] Code: <a href="blue1.htm" target="self" onMouseDown=" MM_effectHighlight (this, 1, '#DDEEFF', '#DDEEFF', '#DDEEFF', false)" onMouseDown=" MM_effectHighlight (this, 1, '#DDFFEE', '#DDFFEE', '#DDFFEE', false)" onMouseDown=" MM_effectHighlight (this, 1, '#FFFFBB', '#FFFFBB', '#FFFFBB', false)" onMouseUp=" MM_effectHighlight (this, 4000, '#DDEEFF', '#FF9999', '#FF9999', false)"> blue-green-yellow, then red</a> . . Imagine that two links (blue0.htm, blue1.htm) are in a blue-background area of the text-sitemap, while two other links (2,3) are in a green-background area, and two links (4,5) are in a yellow-background area. By copying the code I found in another page, I think the code below might describe the links-array I want. But this raises two more problems: Third, the array probably contains errors or omissions. Fourth, even if it was correct, I don't know where to put it: in the head section? body section? inside the js-code for a link? if yes, would I have to repeat this code for each of the 14 main links, or should I write it once (with a name) and then "call up" this name for each of the 14 links. These are things an expert will know, but I don't. Code: <div class="box_broadstyle"><script> var linksArray = new Array(); links[0] = "blue0.htm"; links[1] = "blue1.htm"; links[2] = "green2.htm"; links[3] = "green3.htm"; links[4] = "yellow4.htm"; links[5] = "yellow5.htm"; </script></div> . . And I think the code below might be useful to make a "for loop" to control the triple-change by telling the browser which links (0 and 1) should have blue-highlighting (ending with #DDEEFF), and which (2,3) should end with green, and which (4,5) will be yellow. But... Fifth, I don't know if this code is correct or (a tougher challenge) where to put it so it will be functional. Code: for (y=0;y<=1;y++) for (y=2;y<=3;y++) for (y=4;y<=5;y++) . . Thanks for your patience in reading through this question, which is long because I've tried to clearly describe my goals and what I think might be parts of a solution. Any help in solving these mysteries (first, ... fifth) will be greatly appreciated. CraigR Hi all, I have been struggling on a bit of code for a while now. I need to populate a second drop down list (Region) based upon the selection of the first (County). I have found a piece of code that works on its own and have adapted to suit my needs - see below. However, when I drop it into my main page the javascript is not working. It's because of the formObject but I just don't know enough to resolve this! Furthermore, I need the textboxes the user has already completed in the form to retain their value once the javascript kicks in as the completed form will submit to a database. This piece of code is working well . . . . Thanks in advance for your help. I would like to make an ordered list, for example: 1. Airplane 2. Boat 3. Car I'd like one of the words to be displayed on my webpage, for example: Boat Then I'd want an up button, and a down button. The up button would display Airplane instead of Boat, and the down button would display Car instead of Boat. Once it got to Car, the same up button would change it back to boat. How do I do this? Thanks. 09-01-10 Not sure exactly where to post this thread as it involves HTML, Javascript and embedded media players. It probably would be more appropriate here as there is much Javascript involved.... Hello, I am trying to construct a Jukebox for my website. I have spent considerable time all over the WEB and at this forum which addressed the issue in a 50 page thread. Please see: http://codingforums.com/showthread.php?t=50666 I got a lot of ideas from this thread but still cannot figure a way to do the following within the Jukebox. These are my main two questions for everything below: 1. How can I have the Jukebox cycle through all tunes and then start over from the beginning? 2. How can I allow the user to select a tune from a list but not a drop down list, have the Jukebox start from the user’s selection and then play all songs to the end. Then as in #1, start over from the beginning? Per this thread I came away with basically two ways to assemble the jukebox. One uses links in a drop down list which the user can choose from. The other is to use an .m3u playlist. The user can only select a “playlist” from the drop down. Below, I have included the code for each Jukebox. To see the Jukeboxes in action please go to my website where I have posted some test pages exhibiting the jukeboxes that I am referring to. The following is the Jukebox which utilizes an .m3u playlist. If I end up using this idea I would like the tunes in the .m3u playlist to be displayed and allow the user to be able to choose a tune in the list. Then have the list play to the end of all tunes in the list. Then start over from the beginning of the list. After this code is the .m3u playlist. Go to url removed and click on the link that says: “Media Player Using an .M3U Playlist” Jukebox utilizing an .m3u playlist: Code: <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/html4/loose.dtd"> <html> <head> <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=iso-8859-1"> <title>Untitled Document</title> <style type="text/css"> body { text-align:center; } </style> <script type="text/javascript"> function PlayIt(what){ player.document.getElementById('music').innerHTML='<object width="300" height="300" ' +'classid="CLSID:6BF52A52-394A-11d3-B153-00C04F79FAA6" ' +'codebase="http://activex.microsoft.com/activex/controls/mplayer/en/nsmp2inf.cab#Version=5,1,52,701" ' +'standby="Loading Microsoft Windows Media Player components..." type="application/x-oleobject">' +'<param name="url" value="'+what+'">' +'<param name="uiMode" value="full">' +'<param name="autoStart" value="true">' +'<param name="loop" value="true">' +'<embed type="application/x-mplayer2" ' +'pluginspage="http://microsoft.com/windows/mediaplayer/en/download/" ' +'showcontrols="true" uimode="full" width="300" height="45" ' +'src="'+what+'" autostart="true" loop="true">' +'</object>'; } </script> </head> <body> <div id="music"> <object width="300" height="300" classid="CLSID:6BF52A52-394A-11d3-B153-00C04F79FAA6" codebase="http://activex.microsoft.com/activex/controls/mplayer/en/nsmp2inf.cab#Version=5,1,52,701" standby="Loading Microsoft Windows Media Player components..." type="application/x-oleobject"> <param name="url" value=""> <param name="uiMode" value="full"> <param name="autoStart" value="true"> <param name="loop" value="true"> <embed type="application/x-mplayer2" pluginspage="http://microsoft.com/windows/mediaplayer/en/download/" showcontrols="true" uimode="full" width="300" height="45" src="" autostart="true" loop="true"> </object> </div> <br> <br> <select name="player" onchange="PlayIt(this.value)"> <option value="none">::Choose a Song::</option> <option value="JukeboxList.m3u">Jukebox List</option> </select><br> </html> Here is the .m3u playlist for the above code: Code: #EXTM3U #EXTINF:Bill Evans - G Waltz media/G Waltz.mp3 #EXTINF:Dan Pincus - In Your Time media/In Your Time.mp3 The following code is for the Jukebox that has a list of links in a dropdown list. If I go with this idea, I would like for the list not to be a dropdown list but just a list of tunes. The user should be able to click on any tune in the list and the player should start from that point, play all the remaining tunes in the list and then start from the beginning. Go to url removed and click on the link that says: “Media Player Using Links” Code: <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/html4/loose.dtd"> <html> <head> <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=iso-8859-1"> <title>Untitled Document</title> <style type="text/css"> body { text-align:center; } </style> <script type="text/javascript"> function PlayIt(what){ player.document.getElementById('music').innerHTML='<object width="300" height="300" ' +'classid="CLSID:6BF52A52-394A-11d3-B153-00C04F79FAA6" ' +'codebase="http://activex.microsoft.com/activex/controls/mplayer/en/nsmp2inf.cab#Version=5,1,52,701" ' +'standby="Loading Microsoft Windows Media Player components..." type="application/x-oleobject">' +'<param name="url" value="'+what+'">' +'<param name="uiMode" value="full">' +'<param name="autoStart" value="true">' +'<param name="loop" value="true">' +'<embed type="application/x-mplayer2" ' +'pluginspage="http://microsoft.com/windows/mediaplayer/en/download/" ' +'showcontrols="true" uimode="full" width="300" height="45" ' +'src="'+what+'" autostart="true" loop="true">' +'</object>'; } </script> </head> <body> <select name="player" onchange="PlayIt(this.value)"> <option value="none">::Choose a Song::</option> <option value="media/GWaltz.mp3">G Waltz</option> <option value="media/InYourTime.mp3">In Your Time</option> <option value="http://urltosong3.mp3">Song 3</option> <option value="http://urltosong4.mp3">Song 4</option> <option value="http://urltosong5.mp3">Song 5</option> </select><br> <div id="music"> <object width="300" height="300" classid="CLSID:6BF52A52-394A-11d3-B153-00C04F79FAA6" codebase="http://activex.microsoft.com/activex/controls/mplayer/en/nsmp2inf.cab#Version=5,1,52,701" standby="Loading Microsoft Windows Media Player components..." type="application/x-oleobject"> <param name="url" value=""> <param name="uiMode" value="full"> <param name="autoStart" value="true"> <param name="loop" value="true"> <embed type="application/x-mplayer2" pluginspage="http://microsoft.com/windows/mediaplayer/en/download/" showcontrols="true" uimode="full" width="300" height="45" src="" autostart="true" loop="true"> </object> </div> </html> Another idea I found on the WEB also uses an .m3u playlist. The good thing about it is that it lists all the tunes in the playlist which the user can then select from. This jukebox calls up an entire Windows Media Player. If I was to use this idea I would like to be able to disable the left side of the player where the user has options such as burning to CD, Media Guide, Radio Tuner etc… Go to url removed and click on the link that says: “Media Player Within an IFrame Using .m3u Playlist”” Code: <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01 Transitional//EN"> <html> <head> <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=ISO-8859-1"> <title>JukeBox</title> <meta http-equiv="pragma" content="no-cache"> <meta http-equiv="Expires" content="-1"> </head> <body> <IFRAME name="frame" src="JukeboxList.m3u" width="100%" height="347" scrolling="no" frameborder="0"> [Your user agent does not support frames or is currently configured not to display frames.] </IFRAME> </body> </html> Thanks! Dan I have two lists/menus that are start and end times and I want to make the end time list/menu advance 2 hours from whatever is chosen in start list/menu. The values in both of the list/menu are [CODE] <select name="Time" class="Body" id="Time"> <option value="">Choose Start Time</option> <option value="06:00:00">6:00 am</option> <option value="06:30:00">6:30 am</option> <option value="07:00:00">7:00 am</option> <option value="07:30:00">7:30 am</option> ETC........ <select name="Time2" class="Body" id="Time2"> <option value="">Choose End Time</option> <option value="06:00:00">6:00 am</option> <option value="06:30:00">6:30 am</option> <option value="07:00:00">7:00 am</option> <option value="07:30:00">7:30 am</option> ETC........ [ICODE] any ideas on how to accomplish this? you can find my file at http://www.crazywayno.com/startend.php ---------------------------------------------------------------- I also tried this javascript but it doesn't add the additional 2 hours it just repeats the first value. [CODE] <script type="text/javascript"> function cfunc() { document.getElementById("Time2").value=document.ge tElementById("Time").value } </script> <select name="Time" type="text" id="Time" onmouseup="cfunc()"> <option value="">Choose Start Time</option> <option value="06:00:00">6:00 am</option> <option value="06:30:00">6:30 am</option> <option value="07:00:00">7:00 am</option> <option value="07:30:00">7:30 am</option> ETC.......... <select name="Time2" class="Body" id="Time2"> <option value="">Choose End Time</option> <option value="06:00:00">6:00 am</option> <option value="06:30:00">6:30 am</option> <option value="07:00:00">7:00 am</option> ETC........... [ICODE] You can find this at http://www.crazywayno.com/2fields.php Thanks Hi, I have two dropdown lists with the second one being dependent on the selection in the first. Options in list 1: 1,3 or 4 List two should be enabled when 3 or 4 is selected in list 1. So far so good, managed to get it to work with only one set of lists, but I actually have 18 of those sets in this form: Code: <select name="fw[$i]" id="fw[$i]"> <option value="1">FWH</option> <option value="3">links</option> <option value="4">rechts</option> <option value="0" selected></option> </select><br /> <select name="lie[$i]" id="lie[$i]" disabled="disabled" onchange="showBox($i,xxx);"> <option value="0" selected>---</option> <option value="1">gut</option> <option value="2">schlecht</option> <option value="3">Strafschlag</option> <option value="4">OB</option> </select> $i is my index generated by my PHP script and runs from 1 to 18. Everything works just fine as long as the index is not in play. With the index my function breaks, most probably due to my inability to extract the second parameter (xxx above) from the selection field. Here's my function, there could be something wrong there too with how exactly to specify the proper dropdown list to enable. Code: function showBox(field, val) { if (val > 1) { var box = 'lie[' + field + ']'; document.form1.box.disabled == false; } else { document.form1.box.disabled == true; } } Finally, I'm not that adept in javascript programming, more like a trial and error guy, how has hit the wall with this problem. Thanks in advance! Joe |
