please give me the code for checking the company name entered in textbox using javascript .Only sentence case to be allowed.Only abbreviations (without a full name) should not be allowed.(eg DPS) Abbreviations if any should be allowed only at the end of the name within ().eg Delhi Public School(DPS)

I've completed the code work, however I am having issues with Step 6 code. 6) Add the retrieveOrders() function. Within this function, do the following: a. Create variables named user, pwd, sButton, and orderHistory to refrence the elements on the Web page with ID values of userID, pwd, submitButton, and orderhistory, respectively. b. Add and event handler to the sButton object that runs when the button is clicked. Steps c through e should all be done within this event handler. c . Create variables named userValue and pwdValue equal to the values entered into the user and pwd input boxes. respectively. d. If userValue and pwdValue both are non-empty, create a request object named reqOrders. Using the get method, open the following URL with the request object /cgi-bin/wworders.pl?user=userValue&pwd=pwdValue where userValue and pwdValue are the values of userValue and pwdValue variables, respectively. e. Send the request and then wait for a complete and error-free response from the server. i got it from http://www.javascriptkit.com/script/...se/index.shtml but, in turkish alphabet the uppercase of "i" is "İ" with a dot.. and the lowercase of "I" is "ı" without a dot.. when i use the code above, it doesn't find "TEFSİR" if the user type it in lowercase as "tefsir".. also doesn't find "Bayraklı" if the user type it all in uppercase as "BAYRAKLI" is there a way to make this work? Hello. I need to manipulate with a upper and lower case on STRINGS For example I have string: Code: LALA_KAKA_mama_WIWI I need to conwert it to Code: Lala_kaka_mama_wiwi with first letter upper case. Is it one simple way to do it with JS script/code? Best Regards In my functionality, I need to replace all the apostrophes(') present in the sentence with double apotrophes('') so that it can be stored in the database. I am able to replace the first apostrophe with indexOf() and replace() methods. How do I replace the other apostrophes present in the string? Does anyone know of an easy way, using javascript/jscript/jquery only, to get the first sentence of any Wikipedia article? I've tried using ajax to grab all the html and then narrow it down using a couple of split() functions, but not every article is the same, so I don't think I can do it that way. Any ideas? When I run it on my server, I get the form and enter nothing into it, I just click submit. However, it goes straight to the php file and brings up my flash movie, which it shouldnt do. When nothing is entered, the js file should return the error. I thought I had everything set up correctly, but obviously not. I have a validation issue. I need the input fields to highlight yellow if no text has been entered and when the form is submitted the error message displays to check the highlighted fields. I get the input boxes to highlight when there is no text but on submit the form goes to the next page without the error alert message. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Using my instructors example as a guide, i wrote this if you click submit on the example it properly returns false and displays an error message, in my assignment it does nothing but submit to the echo while im trying to get an error message. The assignment is unfinished but i wanted to test out the first bit of code and its not working. Hello Everyone. And thank you for your help in advance. The code below is a basic HTML form that utilizes some javascript validation and CSS styling. It checks to see if the textbox field Is EMPTY. If it is an alert box appears displaying a message that the e-mail field is BLANK. In addition, the empty text box field is outlined in RED. That is great but I ALSO require it to perform some e-mail validation (i.e.) if an incorrect e-mail address is entered an alert box is displayed notifying the user of the error and outlining the text-box yet again. Any and ALL help would be nice.
