PHP - Highlight A Word Using Php
Hi there,
Can someone tell me an easy way to highlight a word in a page using PHP? I only need to highlight 1 word, for example "hello". Thanks Similar TutorialsI have following working code to compare 2 csv files - base.csv file to compare to master.csv file using function row_compare. For now I am echoing the master.csv file followed by echoing the match items. I need help to echo only the master.csv file in a table format and highlight the rows that match the base.csv files items.

Hi I'm currently wondering how people check for latest records each time they refresh only the latest records display in another color. For example a chat. When people submit post and another user refresh their chat page the newest post always get highlighted. Does it work with sessions or how does it work?
I am trying to create a simple calendar where a user can add/remove their availability date. This part works so far. Now what I am having trouble with is highlighting the already selected dates that are fetched from a MySQL database.

The above code works fine. It inserts and deletes a date row in MySQL database table based on a click. Now what I would like to do is to highlight all the "available" dates that are already inserted into the database; so that the user knows which dates he has already selected. This is my code for that. But it doesn't seem to be working. No errors. It's just not highlighting the inserted dates. Can you tell me what I'm doing wrong?

I just want to add a css cass named "active" to my navigation links when its page opened using php.
In my website the content have broken into its individual components. And those components are separated, organized, and put back together using one index file. (website bootstrap file) Actually I am modularizing this website using php.

My client wants to create pdf files and let the user download it. He want's to design one word file and then import it to the application. After that the portal users can request it, which means that the application should take the word file, search and replace some keywords and then create the pdf file for download purposes. I see fpdf but this class only create pdf's. We can not convert from word or even search and replace in one pdf file. Ok I'm trying to make word replace but I'm have some problems , first I have in my database row "words" have the words it look for to replace row "wordsys" have the replacement word the problem I'm have is let say the text I want to replace is "My friend is in here house" and row "words" has "My, In , here" in it and the replacement words are in wordsys has "In for My" "We for In" and "gone for here" so first it going to replace "My" with "In" that good ,but then it going back and replacing "In" the we just replaced with "We" and so forth who do I stop it from re-replace a word that it already replace. <?php //connect to database $textw = "My friend is in here house"; //load all replacements $result = mysql_query("SELECT * FROM data"); //replace all words $words = array(); $replacewords =array(); while ($row = mysql_fetch_assoc($result)) { $words[] = $row['words']; $replacewords[] = $row['wordsys']; } $text = str_replace($words,$replacewords,$textw); echo $text; ?> Thank you for your help |
