PHP - Exporting Data To Excel Prevents Page Refresh

Hello,   I created a web page that executes request from mysql and prints it on web page. I also created a export submit button to export mysql query in csv format file. When I select values and then click on export buttons, I get nothing and page gets refreshed.   Here is the link of my site: rahil.me/index.php    Here is the code:    These are the buttons:

this is the code i'm using at the moment which is at the bottom of a webpage

The variable named $out is a long line of text in csv format. I've echoed that variable and it's all good.

When a checkbox in a form further up the page is checked the code creates and fills in the $out variable and then carries out the code above.

The problem i have is that when the csv save dialog comes up and the file is saved, all it contains is a copy of the html code which is on that page, not the info stored in the $out variable.

Can anyone offer any advice on what the problem is?

      As we know........to export excel sheet the database content....we query the data base and then process the result and  using Workbook  and header we export the result in excel..................

 Is there any way we can reduce the down load time  or increase the performance for same. ?

Hi Guys....

I need to export data into excel file. So far its works on IE and Firefox. But if i using Google Chrome it download only php file. Eg(suppose file test.xls but it goes to test.php). 

Why it happen??

I have an excel file that I want to show in PHP page. I dont want this to first download and then view. I want it something like gmail where you just click on the file name and it opens up. Can you please give me an idea as how to do this.

I am trying to get a PHP Query to refresh every 10 seconds. I have scoured the internet for days and could not find anything of much use. Plenty of Ajax going on (whatever that is) but the scripts were immense. I only want to refresh 7 lines of PHP Query Code.

When I submitted my Form & refresh then browser resend all data again into database,

hi all i am having a big problem that i have been trying to find out what is going on for weeks. i have a echo script that echos data that is in my database, and if i have to refresh the page it will add blank data in my database and the top echo info is blank as well. how can i fix this, and i was wanting to know how do i echo out my info in a textarea. i added a jepg to show you what i mean.

If I create a page called cron.php with scripts that I want to run once a day, and set up my server to run that once a day, what prevents people other than me or my server, from being able to just type in the link "http://MyWebsite.com/cron.php" and cause my cron page to run? isn't this a security issue?
