PHP - [help] Convert Urls To Link In Content Have Tag Html

This is a bit of a long shot, but hopefully somebody can point me in the right direction.

I have a wordpress website that has a 'Wine List' page, in which it lists over 100 'custom posts' detailing each wine. I have tried out several plugins to convert the wine list into a PDF but none work in the way that I require.

So now I'm thinking to just do it outside of wordpress and find a PHP script that may help me.

I imagine it would be impossible to simply execute a script at the bottom of a page for it to convert whatever HTML has been generated into a PDF?

Or is there anything that would allow me to specify what records from the database to add to the PDF? E.g. for me to type a PHP script with a MySQL command and for that to be converted into a PDF?

Just want to ask if this idea is feasible or something, these past few days im doing some research on how materialize the said topic and apparently there were no sound solution so far.  , im working on a script that allows users to publish html design to jpg,

Im done with Imagemagik since its the nearest inline with the specs, so is there any other solution aside from this? im thinking of a php script that will do the job, more likely some gdlibrary manipulation or something.

I have a simple form and need to convert it to XML so I can send it to my payment gateway.

I have the XML data types (?) they are expecting, but do not have a clue of how to build the string.

In a text box I put in some code snippets that I want to refer to later, but when I display it, it displays it in html.  How do I convert the code into pure text so it displays the actual code?

If I try strip_tags, that just strips it (and it doesn't work with php).  And I can't use strip_tags with conditions, because I don't want to list all codes!

Also, the code has both html tags and php code - I just want that whole thing to be displayed as is, without havign the browser try to "read" it. 

Also if I put this into the text box, <td><?php echo date ("m/d/Y", strtotime($row['code_date']));?></td> then nothing is displayed.
If I put this in the box:  <input class="button" style="display:inline"  name="whatever" type="submit" value="Press here" />

then I get an actual submit button instead of the code!

Hi all!!! I could really use some help. I'm burning my brain out trying to figure out the easiest way to go about this.
Here is what I am trying to do (in a nutshell) so I could really use full coding examples.

I need to create a text area with simple formatting tools such as Bold, Italics, Underline, Bullets, and Numbering.
After formatting the text with only those available formatting tools, everything in the text area needs to be converted into html tags.
After the conversion, the HTML data that is create is submitted into a single field into a SQL database.


Any help will be greatly appreciated!!!

I have a file that is uploaded by the user that has a series of rows of data in an html table.

The columns are always a constant, but the number of rows in the file can change.  These rows of the html table are the only information in the file when I am processing it.

I need to either convert the file to a CSV file or write the values to a CSV list so that I can then insert them into a database.

Any suggestions would be wonderful...I've spent the last three hours spinning my wheels.

Is a basic html webpage with a timer redirect script and a stascounter code.

I know a bit about html and javascript, but almost nothing about php.

My question is:

How a can convert this html code into a php file, in order to send a variable value using GET Method and display this variable value inside the javascript code where says VARIABLEVALUE.

OK, so actually I have two questions that are kind of related. The first one is how I can allow users to use <i>, <b>, <strong> tags when submitting information in a form. I would like to allow certain tags so they can emphasize things in their text, but I still want to strip the rest for security reasons. I tried using strip_tags() with some exceptions as a second parameter, but as far as I understand, that just allows them to be displayed as text, not for the browser to make text bold for instance. Below is what I have now.

I also want to ask if the solution above is 100% safe so that users can not submit malicious code that can execute when users' visit a page of mine that displays that code.
