PHP - Table Content Went Out Of Alignment After Apply Php Code
Hi all,
1) I realised after applying php's codes, the contents in 'panel 2' doesn't stay within 'panel 2', apparently the contents went outside of 'panel 2 <div>'. Attached is the picture example. Is there anything amiss which I have done? 2) Another thing, I realised the <td> is very far apart from the next <td>, example... Hi, I am hoping I have posted my current problem in the right part of this forum. As it relates to the php code, I presume this is the right place, although it also relates to a mysql database I have too. Ok, here is my problem.... I have two websites, one is a non members site and one is a paid members area site. I had a directory style script made for the non members site and want to use the same script within the members site. I paid for the script to be made and set up, which cost me quite a bit, hence the reason I am copying it all over to my other site too. The script displays thumbnials from the database, 4 across and 3 down (total of 12 thumbs per page), each linking to a URL and each thumb has a title. On the left of the webpage is categories, which when clicked, shows thumbs relating to that specific category, or all etc. The CMS forms allow us to add categories etc. Ok, now my problem is this.. I backed up the original database and created a new database on the members site where I also want this functionality. I copied all the scripts over then chenged the content of the database. On the members site I only want it to display three categories, All, Photos and Videos. So this is quite simple compared to the first site. All seemed to display fine, until I moved all the scripts into the members folder (which is accessed via ccbill). The page displays ok, but it just states "No updates found" as in, no content in the database is found. The base url in the configuration script is set to the top domain, but I have renamed the folders where the thumbs are saved to members/thumbs, but still it isnt working. I also want to change the folder name from its original name of www.domain.com/sites to the new domain.com/updates but nothing works when I try to change it. If anyone can help me out with this, I would be extremely grateful, as the workings of this script are all there, and it seems pointless having to spend hundreds on a new script to be made when the functionality is already there, but just not working right. For example, a Quote of the Day or This Date in History snippet that they can place on their site. I want to host and manage the content on my site and allow the visitors to syndicate it on their sites easily. The key word here is "easily". I don't want to do this through RSS, which can be tricky for entry-level webmasters and bloggers. I want to be able to offer a line of code, say in Javascript, that the visitor can copy and paste into their site (Wordpress widget etc.) and have my content appear there. Does anyone have any starting points for how to do this? I have several years of experience with PHPP, MySQL, CSS, HTML, etc., but I don't want to re-invent the wheel. I've done something similar in JSP, but not using PHP. I want a code to automatically make specific words within my content bold. For example, If the word "car" appears, make that word bold. Hello - I'm opening my website up to visitors for free, and trying to bypass a login screen to go straight into the data content that was appearing after a user logged in. I would like to make a php script read the commands in the htaccess file and apply those commands to itself. Here is an example :
htaccess commands :
RewriteEngine On

The meaning :
Deny any request in witch the query string contain the word badword
The translation into php code :

Now this example is simple, but how to translate more complex htaccess commands with multiple RewriteCond and complex regular expressions into php commands like the one i did ? or better is there any php script that read an entire htaccess file and apply the rule it read on it ?

I have the following code that queries the database for the results of a quiz. The display reports on completed quizzes, showing, line by line, the quiz title, the date of the quiz, an image of a green tick if the quiz result was correct or an image of a red cross for an incorrect result and a fractional result shoratio of correct answers. A student can repeat a quiz numerous times, and therefore his results for a particulat quiz can display several rows with green ticks and red crosses for the same test done at different times with differing results. I want to recode this so that the red crosses for incorrect results will no longer display once a student achieves a green tick result. I've had several goes at this but my results are less than encouraging. Can anyone help? Do I tackle this through an altered query, or should I include conditions in the display of the array?
