PHP - Mysql Date Format In Php Table

Hi,

I am importing data from a csv file into mysql.

Everything works fine except that the 'order_date' column in CSV is in the following format mm/dd/yy.

Upon import I would like for that format to be changed to yyyy-mm-dd

I am not sure how to modify the following code to be able to do so.

Any help would be appreciated.

I have a simple mysql database holding information about an image upload including its 'name' and 'date uploaded' [current_timestamp()] to a folder 'image'

I then display it into a table using the php ‘foreach’ facility.

I want the date to be displayed in the ‘dd/mm/yyyy’ format.  not the default yyyy/mm/dd.

I have the following for an input form,  I was under the impression that ucwords would format the text into Initial Characters, but this does not do that?  What have I done wrong?

I'm not sure if my problem is with the PHP, MySQL, HTML, or all of the above, but I've used a tutorial from ScriptPlayground (http://scriptplayground.com/tutorials/php/Printing-a-MySQL-table-to-a-dynamic-HTML-table-with-PHP/) to print a table to HTML.

My problem isn't that I couldn't get it to work, as you can see from my site, http://dollapal.com/offerlist.php

I've used the code on my site,  trying to display a list of offers, with links to each, but I actually have two questions:

Is there a way to EXCLUDE columns of the table?  I would rather not show the 'id' or 'points' columns, since they don't offer any worth to the user.  I would also need to hopefully add a dollar sign before the 'pay' quantities if possible.

I would also like use the 'title' field as a hyperlink to the URL listed in the 'URL' field, instead of simply printing the URL. 

Are there any simple ways to do this and not have it look terrible?  I have included a copy of the script that I'm working with so far.

I am not sure if I am googling this wrong or what. I have several dates in a mysql database that I would like to display in a dynamically made page. Can someone help me or point me in the right direction. I am very unfamiliar with the MySql date function.

I would also like to calculate the days that have passed between two different dates.

Example would be:

11-27-2011 and 12-15-2011 = # of days

I am working on a website for my favorite hobby. I have created the dynamic pages and they are ready to go. I am having trouble however with the dates. I want all the dates to show up as MM-DD-YYYY. Not sure how to do that with a while loop. I am also trying to figure out how to make the date say "Lost Info" if the date is showing the default.(0000-00-00)

Here is one part of php code. Here I try to show in last 1 month which dates exactly user made orders. When I run the SQL code in command prompt it works. I think problem is in while loop.

Hi Guys   In MYSQL the date format seems to be YYYY-MM-DD, when I use a dynamic table in Dreamweaver the date is also displayed this way, is there a simple way to change this to UK format DD-MM-YYYY?

I am trying to get the full date from form field using the date function and post method.

$fromdate = $_POST[‘sdate’];
$todate = $_POST[‘edate’];
$fromday = date(‘F j, Y, g:i a’,’$fromdate’);
$today1 = date(‘F j, Y, g:i a’,’$todate’);

When trying to print i get the right format but i get extra information not sure from where? I am getting the date from the form fields of type date.

I'm trying to format a date to use in a mysql query and was wondering about the best way to do it.

the form returns: mm/dd/yyyy and I need to format it to yyyy-mm-dd, any help would be greatly appretitaed, thanks in advance!
