hi again, having trouble getting the result from the drop down box to direct to another page

the if statement works when i don't try and do anything with it.

should the IF statement go on another page and the submit button POST the $result, i'm really not sure. any help would be great..

I can log-in, and get to the page with the two links on it. However, once I click one of the links it falls back to the log-in page, and it ends up being a never ending loop.

It's doing this:
Log-In --> Page with links ---> Log-In page again

Should be doing this:
Log-In --> Page with links --> Add Product page or View Products page

I can never get into the the actual sub page.

Just to be clear, the address bar actually shows product=add or product=view, but it still shows the log-in page.

If you look at this form: kmkwebdevelopment.com/formtest/upload.php you will see that when you click on the "add another upload box" button, instead of it adding another upload box, it is submitting the form for some reason. Can anyone see where the error lies?

Adding A Button Next To Another Button

I am editing this page (attached) and I'm trying to create another button to an external link. I thought it would be as easy as copying and pasting the text to create a second button but that kills the entire page. Any suggestions on how I might do this? This link is internally but the second button I need to open an external URL in a new window.

Hi All,

I have an SQL query that returns a date (31/01/2011 - for example) and this get's placed into a variable - $req_date.

I want to be able to display an image when the required date is within 5 days of the current date. Normally in an if statement I would use:

However I am struggling to work out the difference between the 2 dates.

Any ideas?

I'm just trying something new out here and wanted to know how it looked AND I'm having a hard time figuring out how to accomplish this with the else statement. Obviously on the else it would mean that there was already a template with the same name existing in the database table so I want the user to be sent back to the original form and I'll implement a jquery dialog box telling the user that there is already an existing template with that name.

This function is for a page showing a list of shows from a database. Not all shows have a host. So it does not need to show "with host name" for those shows. I tried if / else statement stating that if there "is" data in the row to display one thing and if there "is not" data in the row to display another.

The problem is that ALL the values, empty or w/content, are being passed. So I was wondering if there was a way to pass only user input with an if/else statement. Something like:

if ($duration == ""){
echo "No value";
else
  echo duration;
}

This, however, is not working and I would like to know what possibly could work that would be structured similarly. Thanks in advance.
