How can I run php code that is stored in a database? I have my pages created by grabbing the contents of a pageBody mySQL table cell, but some pages require further php to be able to display correctly. For example, I have a players page, which will list all players, and some information about them. The players and information is all saved in a players table in my database (separate to the pages table where pageBody is stored). I use simple php to grab all the players and format all of their information so it can be displayed on the page. This is the flow of information that I would like: User clicks on players page browser loads content page (this is a template page), and grabs the pageid from $_GET browser then reads pages table in database to get the pageBody associated with the pageid The pageBody will contain more php, which will run the players script to retrieve the list, and display Doing it the above way will make it much easier to extend the website to include more types of pages that has to run additional php scripts. The only way I can think of this working is by doing this: user clicks on players page browser loads content page, grabs pageid from $_GET browser checks the pageid for the one associated with players (hard coded into the php script) browser then loads the players.php script instead of going to the database This above way means that I will need to edit the index.php page everytime I add a new list type (example, coaches, volunteers etc). This is kind of hard to explain, but I will try my best. I have a script that is attempting to display information in a MySQL database by month fields that are chosen by the user. For instance, they can choose for the start date to start in January, and pick the end date which in this example will be April. The script then puts the required field that match the specific dates into a column for each month. For the most part it outputs fine as: Jan: 15, Feb: 14, Mar: 9, Apr: 2. However, sometimes there is nothing in the database for certain months. This causes the script to display wrong so instead I get: Jan 3, Feb: , Mar: , Apr: . In the above example, the Jan: 3 might be wrong, because the field might have been for Mar instead. I need it to display like this when there is no fields in the database: Jan: 0, Feb: 0, Mar: 3, Apr: 0. How would I go about doing this? I have two websites, one is a non members site and one is a paid members area site. I backed up the original database and created a new database on the members site where I also want this functionality. I copied all the scripts over then chenged the content of the database. On the members site I only want it to display three categories, All, Photos and Videos. So this is quite simple compared to the first site. All seemed to display fine, until I moved all the scripts into the members folder (which is accessed via ccbill). The page displays ok, but it just states "No updates found" as in, no content in the database is found. The base url in the configuration script is set to the top domain, but I have renamed the folders where the thumbs are saved to members/thumbs, but still it isnt working. I also want to change the folder name from its original name of www.domain.com/sites to the new domain.com/updates but nothing works when I try to change it. If anyone can help me out with this, I would be extremely grateful, as the workings of this script are all there, and it seems pointless having to spend hundreds on a new script to be made when the functionality is already there, but just not working right. My question is, how do I pull out the entire list of names into a drop down box and yet showing the selected name which the user has chosen, more elaboration can be seen in profile.jpg. I suspect I would have to store the data in a different format in the database? And how exactly do I use the eval() function in my case? Could someone please adjust my code so that it does work?
