Hello to all, I have problem figuring out how to properly display data fetched from MySQL database in a HTML table. In the below example I am using two while loops, where the second one is nested inside first one, that check two different expressions fetching data from tables found in a MySQL database. The second expression compares the two tables IDs and after their match it displays the email of the account holder in each column in the HTML table. The main problem is that the 'email' row is displayed properly while its while expression is not nested and alone(meaning the other data is omitted or commented out), but either nested or neighbored to the first while loop, it is displayed horizontally and the other data ('validity', 'valid_from', 'valid_to') is not displayed.'

I'm a PHP/MySQL beginner and I really need some help.
I have a small script that I am using for sending SMS. I recently added a phonebook. The problem with the phonebook right now is that it's available to all users, i.e. they can all update and delete all rows. What I would like to do is make it so that each user can update and delete only their own contacts.
I have a table call contacts. Inside that table there is first name, last name, company and phonenumber.
How can I accomplish this with PHP & MySQL?

Hey everyone. I am creating a website so my family can select from the list of present my daugther has asked for. I have them logging in, and that works. I have the table data set and the search and table display works. But I would like to display the list (as in the code below) but with a checkbox in the first column (add a column). From that the authenticated user can click on the item they have purchased and that selection will be moved to another table (called purchased). I have that code. The only thing I cannot figure out is to present the data in list form with a checkbox (like you would see on an order form). I want the form data to be 1) stored into a mysql database AND after storing said data, 2) email the same data to our sales department. 1) The form data DOES get stored into mysql database (except for the first two fields, for some weird reason) 2) I added a "mail" section to the php file that stores the data into the database, but it is not working correctly. I have stripped the email portion down to sending just one of the fields in the "message" to make it easier for troubleshooting I have included here, both the form section of the html file, and the formdata.php file that processes the data for your analysis. I am relatively new to php so there are going to be some issues with security, but I can work on those after I get the store & email process to work correctly. I set a one <form> on every form field I have including the submit button. Now whenever I press the submit button it redirects to insertvalues.php which it should be doing. In insertvalues i told it to query the form data and post it into my database's table. Its not doing that and tells me that it has a database error which i set it to tell me if something goes wrong. Hi there im not quite sure how to do something and was wondering if anyone can help me, I am going to create a large database with lots of fields and these are going to be displayed on a page i want to limit it to 20 per page and be able to sort them aswell by ID (default) and then a-z or z-a, i dont know how to do this and i also need to know how to create the next previous and last and first links im guessing theres a count++ involved ? im not quite sure but anyway if someone can help it will be great.
