PHP - Fastest Way To Loop Through Two Arrays, Compare Elements, And Print Results?
I have two arrays, X and Y, which contain names. The arrays are of the same size. The arrays are related to each other such that for each pair
X[n] , Y[n] X is friends with Y. For example: X[0,1,2] = [Link, Cloud, Cloud, Mario, Mario, Luigi] Y[0,1,2] = [Zelda, Barrett, Tifa, Luigi, Bowser, Mario] Link is friends with Zelda Cloud is friends with Barrett and Tifa Mario is friends with Luigi and Bowser Luigi is friends with Mario I want to loop through these arrays and, for each unique name, find all of that person's friends. Which obviously returns the ticketNumber, title & content of the first support ticket in the array, but I want to loop through and display that information for each ticket! Can anyone advise as to where I am going wrong? I think I need to utilise the ["tickets"][x] but not sure how!

I need to get an array of umpires (baseball), then compare that to the array of umpires that can work a given level, then compare that to the array of umpires that can work at that school, and finally compare that to the array of umpires who have asked for the day off. In the code below, all of the selects work...the echo's that are commented out printed out what I expected them to. Yet ofcourse there is a possibility that 2 tables with the same name can be generated, which ofcourse is not desired. So I need an adjustment that can see whether there is already a name that's the same, and if so, make another random name. And if that one also exists, make a new one again. If the date entered is over 3 years old, all's ok However, if the date entered is less than 3 years old, the user needs to complete a list field. The list field is essentially a repeater field with a date and address field. If the user adds a date and address and this (plus the original date) is more than 3 years combined history - happy days! If the user adds a date and address and they've still not hit 3 years history, then I need to increase the number of rows (this is handled by another function which works by incrementing a field on the form. As it stands, it works until I need another field to appear i.e. they've entered the first date, then entered a date within the list/repeater field but still not got 3 years worth. I think it's more or less there but seem to have muddled some of the logic (I think/hope!). A fresh pair of eyes would be great: Here's my code:

And all of the data shows perfectly EXCEPT the second last line where I try to print $r[9].
I think this is because I need to associate $r[9] from the first array with the appropriate record in the second array.
But I can't figure out how to do that!
In plain English I want to print $r[9] where $r[1], $r[2], $r[3] from the first array are equal to $row3[1], $row3[2], $row3[3] from the second array.
I've got no idea how to go about it, so any help would be great

But when I use the while loop to pull up the data for this table, it prints out every row but the last one. I've wracked my brain for years trying to fix it, and just cannot find the solution.
