PHP - Echo Error - Cannot Identify The Problem

Hello there,

I have a problem with this project I'm working on, everything is working fine except for one last thing.
it goes as you go to the website, search for a city, choose a hotel from a list in that city, then book a room in that hotel, go to confirmation page then to paypal.
everything is fine except after the booking when you go to the confirmation page, it shows correctly the number of nights you booked and everything, all except the rooms, it shows 0 rooms selected, and it doesn't give any price at all.

I'm using this plain and simple script below to count page views.  Is there a way to identify a spider bot with php and then do something like..   if this visitor is a bot, don't count it.   If not, count it?

I need to be able to identify the  browser tab that sent each request the server receives.

I originally planned to do this by passing an ID back from each web page. However, I found that when the user leaves a web page by clicking a non-form button or a link, this causes huge problems. The ID really has to be returned via POST to prevent users from using it inappropriately, and the prospect of making a button or link do a POST is not appealing.

Is there any other technique I can use? I've examined all of the superglobals, but I didn't find anything that would work.

I have this problem with an echo I have this code, what is working only not all of it, it request a database (ID) TID which is a catorgy. Now I need to TID to be in a place but can't to seem to get it. Here is the code:

ok im building facebook app and im just back to php after months not touched it.

i tried every variation and it does not work!

i maybe forget something that i should have done?

the $uid containing user id numbers so what i did wrong and if im not wrong i wanted the numbers($uid) Wrapped in quotation marks

Im pretty new to php but im have trouble understanding why my script is doing this. Forgive me for silly mistakes!

Im creating a login/register website and once the person has logged in they get a message saying "Successful login, welcome username!"

The php checks against a database of users in an if statement to check if the password is correct and then prints out the message. But at the end of the message the echo is printing out a 1.

I get that because the echo is in an if statement its return true or 1 but I cant get it to not print out the 1.

code snippet is -
