PHP - Functions Wont Run - Problem :o
Ive got some like code like this (this is a part of my source, it'll be enough to solve my problem). I've got 4 functions here trying to run them using switch statement, but only the default one is running, why ?

Help? I don't want to skip out things in a tutorial. I have a script I am putting together that simulate a cricket game. The only issue is, that there are a huge number of functions because there doesn't seem to be any other way to do this properly. As well as this, there a while() loop and all this seems to be leading to the page reaching a max 30 second timeout when generating the result. I am having trouble getting the SQL strings to work. When the page is ran online there is no WSOD or error message but the tables in my database are not being updated. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.
