PHP - Check If Input Field Contains *insert Text Here*

Hello All:

Trying to work with PHP on a contact form with a jQuery Validation to make certain that the visitors fill out the required information. I'll try to show everything that I have, and then the error I am getting when the visitor hits "submit."

I don't know PHP all that well, and trying to learn my way through it. I used a couple of tutorials to add the features I needed and did my own styling on the live site.  Here is the PHP that is currently in the header of my markup:

So basically I am using classes to say whether or not something is required, which ties into the jQuery validation. If it isn't required, whatever the visitor types into the box is put into something like "$telephone" which is then printed in the e-mail.

All seems well until I hit submit on the live site. I think get this error returned to me:

Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in ......./html/development/contact.php on line 64

The e-mail goes through, with all the information, no problems! I just can't get this error message to go away.
Line 64 of contact.php is where the checkbox coding is:

I know I've submitted a lot of code here, and tried to narrow you down to the exact spot I think the problem is, but hopefully some of you PHP gurus can pick out the flaw in a heartbeat.

(Another quite newbie...)
I have already an online booking form. The Form works fine now and I would like to add on one more issue, but the code ignores what I want to check. I have 4 fields: arrival, departure, no. of persons and comments to check.

Scenario 1:

All field mentioned above are emtpty: Workes fine and message appears: "You have not provided any booking details".

Scenario 2:

If arrival (date_start) and departure (date_end) is entered, there should be at least an entry either in the field "comment", or in the field "pax". If not, there should be a message: "You have not provided sufficient booking details".

INSTEAD: The booking request is sent, which should not be the case.

The code is currently:

I am a webmaster for my church and I am fairly new to PHP. What am trying to is when a visitor goes to our radio ministry page and clicks a button which the message number is displayed in the read only textbox, it will go to my request CD page and auto populate the message number in that text field form the readonly text field from the previous page. Is it possible to have a text field on my site, and the text that is entered into it, be given to another site that I auto redirect the user to?

If it is possible, could somebody give me the exact code (I'm not a programmer) I would need to use?

- I am inserting a new record into a table called "parts". The key field is "partid", which is autoincremented.
- After I do the insert, how do I get the value for partid for the new record? I cannot select the record because there are no unique combinations of fields to select on.

How do I check if a field is empty and NOT display it...?

For instance it has a 'applied' field, if that is empty I dont want it to display, however I still  need the event = 'Yes' part.

Hey all. What is the best way to check if a form field has been entered by the user? Because a field left blank by the user still shows up as set with the isset function.

Example:
if (isset($_POST['name']))
{
echo "The field is set";
}

This is a problem if I'm checking if the user has skipped over the name field on a form because an empty value gets passed to the POST array even if the field is left blank.

Do people use empty or a regular expression instead?

I have a script that uploads and images, creates 2 versions of it, re-sizes the images and inserts all the info into a DB.

The odd thing is that if I don't have an image to upload, it will still run the script but it will completely skip over the description.  If I upload an image, it works fine.  Not too sure what the issue is.
Is it because my variable of $desc causing a conflict?

Hi i have a form that logins at a mail. I have installed an SSL at this domain and i would like to add an option at the form for the user to login using https or not

the form is above. How can i add an option with check-box from user to login using https ???? IF this is checked when the user clicks "login" he will redirected to https and will login.
