PHP - Want A Php Code To Display Popup Message When A Image Is Clicked On!

I have a "Members" page that displays my organizations members info via My SQL. Currently, the database displays "State" quick links at the top and has the members organized by State down the page. If you click on one of the State links at the top, it will navigate to the section of the page with that state and associated members. I want the members associated with a specific state to be displayed only once I click the associated state link -- instead of all of the information showing at once like it is now. I am trying to display "open" / "closed" depending on the time of day.  I tried to write my own script but it doesn't seem to be working.  Does anyone know of some boxed script I can use?

I created a login system using a tutorial found online. Everything works perfectly.. but now the client wants "Hello [First Name]" displayed after logging in. I've tried about 12 different tutorials at this point and can't seem to tweak them enough to work with my code.

A lot of the tutorials have session_start(); at the top of their protected (welcome.php) page. But mine seems to be held in a variable in another script and the top of my welcome.php looks like this:

Here I use two php page with two forms. my first form is 'sign_up.php' and second is select_subject.php'. sign_up.php page has more categories and users can select up to 3 more categories there. So. after selecting and user click the continue bottom, page want to go to second form page its select_subject.php page.

If a user not select a category of who selected over 3 category I need to display a error message. like this  "Please select atleast 1, not more than 3 categories."

I use this HTML my first page

Hi,   I'm trying to display a message first before redirect to other page, but my code just directly redirect the page without display the message.please help me.

I feel like a moron asking this question as it seems to be one of the most common things done with php but I cannot find a tutorial (probably because I don't know the correct wording to search under) on this specific thing..

Anyhow.

I'm spitting out a list of the Titles of my test table like so (and its working as expected):

It's no surprise it's not working (with many variations etc), but I am only familiar with using <form> GET or POST, and these of course are not form elements, so I cant seem to call them the same way.

My suspicion (and from the research data I could find) is that I need to pass values in my link: <a href='posting_details.php'> ...

I could not get it to work, but I was trying variations like: <a href='posting_details.php?get[title&get[description]]'> but it seems like I am screwing things up even more by doing this..

Anyhow. If anyone could show me a tutorial that covers this specifically or some suggestions on the best approach to this would be much appreciated..

Hello all, my first post after joining this very informative site, unfortunatly I was unable to find the answer to my simple yet frastrating dilemma.

I am in the process of building a website that will enable users to log-in through a dedicated loginU.php page, I have all of this working but I would like to display an error message on this page saying if the user has entered a wrong username/password, I have the message displaying on a blank white page, but I would like it to be displayed within the container I have created. the validation code is contained within a different login.php file.

At the moment I am using an iframe to display the messages, which I know is not the right way to do it, so am asking for a better way to do it. here is what I have so far:

Im trying to make a kind of a community website for my friends and others who want to be there.. (Its danish)..
I got alot of stuff going in the codes, and now i want some kind of a popup to tell the user when they got a new msg, i trying alot of stuff but i cant find something that works with my codes..

I got 2 iframes in the background running to update user status and stuff, i want one of them to create a popup when a new msg is in for the Session user..

Btw.. i dont wanna use alert popup cuz then they will stack if a user goes out for a few hours but stays on website..

Hi

I'm trying to create a page where there is a grid of images and if you click on one of those images it will expand. Once the image has expanded and you click on the i icon that is below it, the i icon will display the information about that image.


This isn't like a popup or anything like that, because when you click on the image and it expands, it expands in the same spot and it doesn't popup.   Here is the html

Hi, I'm not super fluent in PHP or whatnot, but I currently have a website set up with an index.php to load the content pages within it.

As part of the template, it consists of a header image, links, a photo, and a video.
The content of each page loads within the specified area below the "template".

Here's my question:
My client wants to see a specific picture when they click one of hte links.
For example, if they clicked on spot removal, the image beside the navigation should show spot removal and stay there on the index page while the content page, spot removal is shown.

Does this make sense? I need help and fast. Screenshot included in attachment.
And like I said, I'm not super fluent in PHP/MYSQL, so be very detailed when talking about what to do. I'd appreciate the help.

I have a Php application that already has 2 buttons with input on the index page that perform some functions and output to different Php pages. Works good. How do I add a button with no input that would just perform a function and then just display a popup window showing the contents of a text file? I want to add several of these buttons for different functions and just display the contents of the resulting text files in popup windows. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
