PHP - Moved: Best Php Book Recommendation ?

I have built a small classified ads application.  A person can put in an item for sale and it will diaplay the item.  On the input form for the ad they enter their email address.   I am looking for an application that will display an anonymous email address on the classified ad and send to the anonmmous email through to their real email address.  I would prefer to do this through the web server of the client and not have to set up a Google Apps or third party email accout for the "catch all"  account.   Any recommendation for tutorials to explain and illustrate how to write this code.   Thanks in advance for any assist.   m

I have users in my database with many stored points ie age, gender, interests etc. about 20 points in all.   I have a table of products that I want to recommend only applicable products. They each have saved like minage, maxage, gender, interest etc for the ideal consumer. ie dress gender=f   This is the bare bones of what I have so far:

$rowproducts = mysql_fetch_array($result);

So now I have $rowuser['gender'] = m , how do I remove all from $rowproducts where gender = f?   Is there a best way to do this knowing I have about 20 points to go through before I am left with an array with just the best selection of products for this user in it?

Hi Guys, i got the PHP and MYSQL for dummies (4th addition) and i am typing up the code examples myself just to gain the experience. Im at the end of the book nearly where it is talking about log in applications that add info to the url but for some reason the code doesn't work. Im using Xampp as a localhost server.

Attached are the two scripts for the program, and below is the include file. I open up the login_url form first:

Hello everyone,

I'm new to php/mysql and am trying to setup a basic online address book script that has come straight from a tutorial book. I've created the tables etc and have the correct login details. I thought that was it but somehow I keep getting 'no database selected' in the top-left of the browser.

Below is the file for opening the connection, is this a job for mysql_select_db and if so where would it need to go? i've been playing around but just cant get rid of that damn message, any help is massively appreciated :

Hi guys new to this site and need some help.

Im using PHP 5 in easy steps by Mike McGrath, currently creating the register and login scripts for my website.

Ive manged to do the register script fine, it drops new user details into the MySQL database fine, however the login script gives the following error when loggin in:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_VARIABLE in /hermes/bosweb25a/b109/ipg.removalspacecom/removal space.com/loginscript.php on line 15

I copied the script word-for-word, letter-for-letter, checked and re-checked. I would like to ask you guys if you see something i dont?

the error is coming from line 15, the sql query line? why would there be an error from the advisory book? please help me as im stuck on this one.

Hi, I have a page whihc gets Daily motion URL from another page and also location of Image. I have Face book share button on this page and want to show my inage while trying to share on FB.   unfortunatley face book picks something wrong , and I use Open Graph Debug library then temporarily this picture issue gets resolved but it re-occures again if another URL is selected for sharing purpose.   Code written in  header of my page:   <meta property="og:title" content="Greate Web SIte"/>
