PHP - Form Textbox As Is Instead On All On One Line

how do I make this form here have a limit on the value's name, then it moves to the next line?

what im trying to do is take a youtube embed code find the URL code for that video and remove all other parts of the code keeping only the URL of the video
after i get the URL by it self then replace the http://www.youtube.com/ part of the URL with http://i2.ytimg.com/vi/

to do this i know that i need something like this to get the URL of the video
http://www.youtube.com/((?:v|cp)/[A-Za-z0-9\-_=]+)
but how to only return just the URL is something idk how to do

then use str_replace http://www.youtube.com/(?:v|cp)/" with  http://i2.ytimg.com/vi/

so in the end im asking if anyone know how to remove all other codes i dont want  and only keep the URL


this may have to be done using "regex" im not sure as i dont know to much about regex and what it can do but does sound like it would help lol

           Good Day, i am new to PHP (a beautiful server side scripting language). i want to send a mail with line by line message i tried with different types like by placing the things in table and using  <br /> but the thing is the tags are also visible in the message of the mail.

Here is my code:

For this code if try to print/echo it it is working fine it is displaying line by line, but using this variable ($message1) in the mail these <br /> are also visible.
Can any one guide me to resolve(to remove these tags from the message part) this issue.

i have to read a single line from a csv,  its a really big file and i only need one column. i need the response to be a string ,i made a search and found the following code but i dont have any idea how to get a single line from a single string per run .

How to get this echo line to display as one line?
No matter what I have done it displays as two lines.  I even tried <nobr></nobr>

I have a script that reads a .gz file into an array and prints the name of each record but will not work on larger files. Is there a way to read 1 line at a time?

I want to know how to display results from mysql database by filling in a form. but i have found a tutorial which shows typing in a text box which displays results. if i follow this tutorial will it help me to understand and create php coding to display results for my form?

I want my application will send a email after 10 minutes of sending another email.

In my application

A user completes registration with payment Application sends the user a payment confirmation email

Now I want to

send another email 10 minutes After payment confirmation email with welcome tips

I have a problem where I am unable to display a DB entry that for exampe says "John Doe".

The code I am using is:

The output shows "John" instead of "John Doe", have I missed something here 

Like Youtube; when submitting a video; You can insert words into a Textbox named Tags.

Each space you leave is considered the start of a new word.

How can I do this using PHP + MYSQL.

I would appreciate if someone could figure this out or tell me the easiest way to do this. I need a count up counter that appears in a textbox so I can record the time a user is on a page. On a side note, I do have their Start and finish time timestamp recorded in myphpadmin database but I am looking for the easiest (or best) way to do this. Any advice or scripts would be very much appreciated.   Thanks in advanced.   I did find this counter that works but the numbers appear 0.0.1 if counting up. I don't want to confuse the user. I really want to display to the user how long they was on a certain page.

i have been trying for 6 hours to write some code that will show a text box and the user puts in there id then it provides a link with the id in the middle of it

so say the id is 111555

the link is http://example.com.au/data/users/111555/2011/1/1 i want the user to insert their id and do if the id 343034 the link is
http://example.com.au/data/users/343034/2011/1/1

can any one give me the code to this i have gotten no where

I am currently writing a script, well, attempting to write a script where the user is able to add an unlimited amount of text boxes via javascript:

The js code works fine adding the text boxes. My first question is: in the "name" field; the name I have is "prod_misc[]" is that correct for adding the input into an array?

Second question:

I want to input that data from the "prod_misc[]" array into SQL, namely PostgreSQL. Should I use a "for()" loop to extract each key of data from the array "prod_misc[]"? If so, what syntax do I use to input an array of data like that into SQL?
