PHP - Submit To Multiple Php Files Possible?
Hi all,
I was wondering if it was possible and not too messy to have a single form page (html) and have it post to 2 or more PHP files? Surely this is something that is desirable and accomplished at some point, right? Thanks. Richard Similar TutorialsSay I have an "Entries" table. I am using phpexcell to format an excell file. all working 100% What should i be looking to do when i want to edit and format multiple files in a directory. about 200 excell documents all the same and with same formatting? Found this code for reading, but lets say row c3:i3 i want bold and size 14 in all the excell files

Hi Guys, I have a HTML form which posts to a PHP mail script page. This data then emails to the company email address. Hi, I'm having a bit of a problem sharing some variables I have across a few files. My first file (index.php) calls an ajax request for (display.php) and sends a few variables to it. All fine so far. display.php then does its thing and displays the content on index.php as it should. Now in display.php I need a variable to be passed back to index.php for use in a menu. I've tried setting a session variable in display.php but unfortunately this doesn't seem to work. I also can't use get or post as I don't want to refresh the page. Really scratching my head over this one! Edd I need to be able to upload multiple files with the use of one form. Right now I have support for one file and it works great. I am stuck on what route I should take for times sake and reliability and functionality. Can I run each file on its own through the PHP script to upload the file; I would have to create a loop to run through the script as many times as there are files. OR Do I create new functionality and add the files through the use of an array? But I want to show a progress bar while downloading file from external server. My existing code shows progress bar but its not effective (ex. if i try to download two media file, one video and another audio, and video size is larger than audio size the audio finishes first and the progress bar shows 100% also suddenly it drops to 50% as the video is still downloading ). I mean it actually shows two progress and I need one. If I could get average percentage value of two progress that would be better. Any suggestion regarding this will be greatly appreciated. <?php

As is, I have 2 distinct log-in scripts each linked to 2 separate databases . I want to merge them into one log-in form that populates both tables(in different dbs). I don't want my visitors to log into 2 different forms. Can one form's action attribute send the POST data to two different processing scripts? and can the input from a text box be sent to 2 different fields? I have a HTML form wich contains basic textfields en checkboxes. Beyond that i have a row with some dropdowns, but one of these fields in the row is a file field. Also, the visitor is able to add a new row, when the user clicks add row, a new row with the same fields including a new file field appears. This can be done as much as the user likes. The fiel field is optional though, it doesn't need to be filled. All my textfields, checkboxes and dropdowns are coming through email nicely. Only thing that isn't coming my way are the files i attach. I can fix the text and decoration part later, but for now I'd like to know how to make it display information from every uploaded file upon multi-uploading. Information, as in a simple link to the image will do now just fine. So it kind of would redirect you after an upload process to page where are links to all uploads just done. However what I am trying to do is enter a record in the database for every file that is uploaded, giving it a picture id, album id and user id (p_id, a_id, u_id). From here I then want to rename the image to the p_id in the database(auto_increment). I am starting just by counting the amount of images uploaded and then creating a record. I'm making my first dive in OOP and all the tutorials only really show basic usage. They define a class, and show how to use it in a file. My question is how does it work to use an object throughout a program? Is it available everywhere or do I store things in sessions and start a new object on each page? For example: logging in a user. If I created an instance after confirming the credentials, would that same instance be available for use in say index.php, or would I just pass a session over and create a new instance on each page? Again, sorry if this seems dumb to some people. Hi there, I have a form submitting to a mysql database. It was requested that I put a multiple file upload option on it. So I added the fields to the form and the database and added the upload script to the form processing file (and of course created the folder on the server with proper permissions to upload to). It should upload the file(s) to the folder on the server and insert the filename into the database. I keep getting: HTTP Error 500 (Internal Server Error): An unexpected condition was encountered while the server was attempting to fulfill the request. This leads me to believe the upload script isn't working properly. If someone could take a look at it I would be a very happy guy. JE I need to display multiple files that have a similar file name, but there are timestamps added to the filename once its been modified. What could I use in PHP to display all these files? Right now I use a $path variable that looks into a SQL table to build the path to the folder that the files reside in.. Hi guys, i have an array of data, with customers and their pics. something like: Quote array (customerid=>customerpic,...........); something like Quote 123412=>'https://mylink.com/mypic343545.tiff' 433453=>'https://mylink.com/mypic3434345.tiff' my goal is to: 1. go through the array and download all the pics, with names like customerid.tiff 2. when done renaming, make a zip file ON-THE-FLY 3. download the zip file to my PC. i know i can use file_put_contents and things like that, but i am not able to really connect the dots, especially the zipping of them all on the fly.....anyone has an idea on this? |
