Similar TutorialsCan anyone please help me write out a php script exactly as described below? In the submission form, users are required to filled in two infos,.. Name and email address. As soon as the 'submit' button is been clicked, the php script should be able to grab the filled infos and stores it on the server in a txt file and at the same time, it should sends out confirmation email to the email address so filled in the submission form. Also, can anyone devise a method as how to retrieve the message body of the confirmation email from the previous php script and then pass it on again to the display of the next page as when the submission button is clicked? So a project I have simply to learn how it is done is to make an auto updating sitemap with a auto submitter. I have been doing a little research on sitemaps but haven't found much in the way of a tutorial or white paper or similar, anyway I was wondering if I am on the right track or not. What I was thinking for the auto-updating sitemap is since site maps are XML, when an article is published using my custom CMS/Blogging system, I make it rewrite the sitemap appending the new URL that will be generated. Then for the auto-submit, I can either make it a cron job or just manual press, but it would go though a for list of URLs, replacing the end part with my site map url. I think that is how it would be done. If you have a better idea, or can point out an article so I can understand a lot more with sitemaps, I will appreciate it, I am trying to learn as much as possible, I have gone to the offical website (sitemaps.org) but it doesn't have what I am looking for. Hi all, I am having some trouble with a part of code. Basically the code is set for a Factory to produce 750 items every 30 minutes. It does this fine IF AND ONLY IF someone clicks the Factory page. For example, it produces 750 bullets, then I leave the page alone for say 20 minutes, but when I click back, it doesn't have 10 minutes left before the next produce. Instead, It has 30 minutes. So it only produces when someone on the game clicks the page. I have tried the basic html refresh but that doesn't work. Any idea's? I have a database it loads this from, (Failed, Success, and Status) Here's an example of how it works. Code: [Select] Failed = 0 Success = 1 Php code calculates the uptime, and prints 100% Status = 1 Status: Online What I am trying to do, it make the site run through Hosts and Ports at the same time, and update the databases with the updated info. P.S. This is will be using fsocketopen. Hello, I am creating a job setup form and have a need for the job id field to increment based on the last inserted job id into our Oracle database. So far I have created a function that selects the maximum job id from the job table and adds 1 to the number. However, I run into the problem of when a user is filling out the form and another user opens it and begins filling out the form they both will receive the same job id in the field. I'm assuming this could possibly be solved with sessions, but I'm not sure where to start. Also, the form is not inserted into the table on submit (instead an excel sheet is created with the information and someone will enter the data into the database manually). Since the form data can be entered anytime from completion to next week/two weeks, how can I ensure that that job id is not used again. I created a customer system that tracks contracts and invoices ect. Where do I start if I would want a customer to be able to go to the website, sign up, and their own version of the system would be created.
Do I just write a script that creates a new database with the correct credentials? Do all of the users access the same files but just have different database. Do I have to copy the directory of files to a specific folder for each customer?
I know there must be tons of websites that once you sign up for example a calendar app that keeps your data seperate from everyone else.
Any help is appreciated.

is there a way to make the column width to try not have multiple lines if possible when pulling 200 rows from a database? I have been searching since past 3 days and came across many functions on php.net and other sites but i am unable to get it to work. Because in my case already uploaded image names are coming out of database through a while loop. So not sure how to integrate those functions here. Its a very simple process, images are uploaded and stored in a gallery folder and their names are stored in database.
