PHP - Compare Table Data And Run Script

Hi, I just want to see what way you guys think is best.
On this little community I'm building I have decided to implement a function to see who were active within the last 15 minutes.
I made a table (just user and timestamp) to register the last activity of any logged on user.
Then I have a variable to take off 15 minutes from that but I can't get them to compare.
Googling the issue I found people are solving this in very different ways.
I wanted to see what phpfreaks recommend as the next step.

i need help on this one. i am aiming to make my own smaller version of tineye.com or something similar i do have a function that will compare 2 images in GD.


all i have to figure out now is how to spider the default image off of major networking sites like facebook,myspace etc. and list all the results found and the similarity of each picture.

the function is something like

I want to compare field nabavna_cijena in last year and this year. How can I achieve that?

How would I compare 2 random numbers to rows in a table.  The table has 4 rows and 2 colums.  My table is setup like this: ID hp mp then has just randomly placed numbers from 0 to 5.  So far my script looks like this: I have $new_hp=rand(0,5); $new_mp=rand(0,5).  Then i query the db by $myquery=doquery("select hp,mp from users";  $myrow=mysql_fetch_array($myquery); once this is done would a while statement like while ($myrow = mysql_fetch_array($myquery) to what each line in the table has?  I would then need to compare the random numbers to those entries in the database.  Something like if($myrow[hp] == $new_hp && $myrow[mp] == $new_mp) { ?  But if the if statement isnt true it needs go back choose another random number and run same again and again until the statement is true and that is where im stuck at so any help would be greatly appreciated

Each of the following fields has 5 digits e.g. 00045, 12654, etc.

What I need to achieve is this:

Concatenate each set (of the 3 sets above) data into one variable e.g. old_code_1 + old_code_2 = 0004512654. So old_code_1 & old_code_2 would become a combined data and the same for the othe 2 sets.

Then. Once concatenated, I need to compa prod_code_1+prod_code_2 with old_code_1+old_code_2 and replace prod_code_1+prod_code_2 with new_code_1+new_code_2 where matches are found.

The new_code_1 & 2 are in the same row as the old_code 1 & 2. So the data is in alignment that way for comparison.

Thanks for any insight or suggestions on how to make this happen in the simplest form possible.

I need to compare records in a table based on the 'datetime' field, like if the difference between time is less than 15min.

need to combine the records(rows) as a single resultant row until the time difference between them  is less than 15min and when a record's time difference is >15min that should return as another row and so on. Please find following sample table and the required output format

You can see 1st row in the output table having IDs 1,2,3,4 coz the time difference between them is less than 15minutes (it doesn't means time difference between start and end; it is actually the  time difference between current record and previous one ; ie; ID-1 and ID-2 have difference less than 15min and ID-2 & ID-3 have difference less than 15min and ID-3 & ID-4 have difference less than 15min, so those 4 records combine together as a single row also shows their start time and end time. Then you can see diff between ID-4 and ID-5 is greater than 15 min so it should display as new row, and so on)

How can I acheive above Output with mysql query ??

I have problem figuring out how to properly display data fetched from MySQL database in a HTML table.

In the below example I am using two while loops, where the second one is nested inside first one, that check two different expressions fetching data from tables found in a MySQL database. The second expression compares the two tables IDs and after their match it displays the email of the account holder in each column in the HTML table.

The main problem is that the 'email' row is displayed properly while its while expression is not nested and alone(meaning the other data is omitted or commented out), but either nested or neighbored to the first while loop, it is displayed horizontally and the other data ('validity', 'valid_from', 'valid_to') is not displayed.'

Can someone help me on this, I guess the problem lies in the while loop?

I can add and delete data from my table. Now I need to be able to change one or more fields in an entry. So I want to retrieve a row from the db, display that data on a form where the user can change any field and then pass the changed data to an update.php program.

I know how to go from form to php. But how do I pass the data from retrieve.php to a form so it will display? Do I use a URL and Get? Can I put the retrieve and form in the same program?

Hey everyone.

I am creating a website so my family can select from the list of present my daugther has asked for.  I have them logging in, and that works.  I have the table data set and the search and table display works.  But I would like to display the list (as in the code below) but with a checkbox in the first column (add a column).  From that the authenticated user can click on the item they have purchased and that selection will be moved to another table (called purchased).  I have that code.  The only thing I cannot figure out is to present the data in list form with a checkbox (like you would see on an order form).

Hello PHP Freaks,   I think this is just if else statement problem but im kinda lose to it. The whole code is succesful in deleting the data from database the problem is i wanted to put a script that remind the user if he/she really sure to delete the data. By the way this is the script.

I have two databases

DB2:datain2
having the below structure

the two databases having same structure

My query is

i want copy all data from datain1 to datain2 on daily process through php script(script will be executed manually on daily)

i don't want any duplicate or repeated data in datain2

give me some script to do this
