PHP - Sending Image Through Header Problem
Hi all,
I am trying to send an image through header so I have two php files: test0.php Code: [Select] <html> <head> </head> <body> <?php $imagename='test.php'; ?> <img src="<?php echo $imagename; ?>"/> </body> </html> and test.php: Code: [Select] <html> <html> <head> </hesd> <body> <?php $image = imagecreatefromjpeg('images/1.jpg'); header('Content-Type: image/jpeg'); imagejpeg($image, '', 100); ?> </body> </html> but the image doesn't show . What is the correct way? Thank you in advance. Similar TutorialsI need to send two cookie name/value pairs to the page I am trying to open using file_get_contents, in order for the person viewing the page to have associated dynamic content, but it isn't working, and I'm wondering if I'm setting it up right: if(isset($_COOKIE['bwd_data']) && isset($_COOKIE['bwd'])){ $cookie_val = $_COOKIE['bwd_data']; $cookie_val2 = $_COOKIE['bwd']; $opts = array( 'http'=>array( 'method'=>"GET", 'header'=>"Accept-language: en\r\n" . "Cookie: bwd_data=" . $cookie_val . "\r\n" . "Cookie: bwd=" . $cookie_val2 ) ); $context = stream_context_create($opts); echo(file_get_contents(url::site('httperrors','http'), FALSE , $context)); }else{ echo(file_get_contents(url::site('httperrors','http'))); } Hello one and all, Just a quick request here, I've written a script that sends an email with an attached file by the user. (docx, txt, pdf, doc, rtf) are the formats I have accepted. At the moment I'm sending them with the following... Code: [Select] $fileatt_type = "application/pdf"; // File Type It works fine with all formats in older email clients, i.e, like yahoo before they updated the layout, but in the newer versions it's specific and if I try to send it this way it is always delivered as a .PDF and doesn't open if it is any of the other formats. It may sound silly but I've searched a fair bit for the other extensions or formats to include instead of the above code (maybe something like application/doc or something) but there doesn't seem to be a list. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Much obliged, PHP the learned. Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at ) on line 179 I labeled 179 its at the bottom. I understand this means its already generating the html but not how or where. A solution would of course be nice but if some one could tell me even how to figure it out it would be great. Hi guys, i was wondering how can i make php to generate custom image with required fields (contact form). For example, i have a page with first name, last name, full address, email. And it's like this: First name: <input field here> Last name: <input field here> Full Address: <input field here> Email: <input field here> I would like to know how can i (once they fill all the info) generate an image with custom background (prepared full image previously) with all the filled info and have it emailed back to him. That email should be something like: Dear, FirstName, Here's your full info displayed on image below <img src="/path/to/thatImage.png"></img> Is this even possible? If so, please let me know how, i used to google a lot, but i can't find a solution, and i'm beginner in coding. Hope you guys will help me out, thanks a lot in advance! Here is the code I have so far: <?php include('database.inc.php'); // Our database connectivity file ?> <?php $reminder_date = 't1.reminder_date'; $email = 'lp_reminder_email'; $reminder_name = 't1.reminder_name'; $reminder_details = 't1.reminder_desc'; $result = mysql_query($sql) or die(mysql_error()); $sql = "SELECT t1.`reminder_id` , t1.`reminder_name` , t1.`reminder_desc` , t1.`reminder_date` , t1.`reminder_email` , lp4.`email` AS `lp_reminder_email` FROM `reminder_events` AS t1 LEFT OUTER JOIN `authorize` AS lp4 ON ( t1.`reminder_email` = lp4.`email` ) WHERE reminder_date <= NOW() ORDER BY `reminder_date` ASC"; $result = 'mysql_num_rows'; while( $row = mysql_fetch_array( $result ) ) if( !empty( $nr ) ) ?> <?php $to = $row[$email]; $from = $row[$email]; $headers = $from; $subject = $row[$reminder_name]; $body = $row[$reminder_details]; { $send = @mail($to, $subject, $body, $headers); } ?> The sql query when run through phpMyAdmin returns a result. When I open this in the browser, it says "Query is empty". Anyone want to help a newb out and show me what I'm doing wrong? I'd like for it to pull the data out of these fields and send it via e-mail. What would be even better is if I could get it to do this the day before the `reminder_date`. I can set it up so cron runs the script, I just need to get the script to work first. Thanks in advance for your help. I am writing a web app to control Zoom Player on my HTPC. I found that ZP supports listening on a TCP port to accept control commands. The docs say to quit ZP, send 5100,fnExit + ASCII 13/10 to port 4769. My original client was C# and I implemented it there, works great. I then realized WTF am I doing using an external .EXE to just send data to a TCP port? Switched to using PHP's fsockopen. Alas, that causes an error to pop up on ZP (List index out of bounds or some such). Perplexed, I wrote a GUI for the HTPC to just display an ASCII val breakdown of what it receives to compa So it looks like they both send the data the same. Any idea why the discrepancy? Here is the code: C# that works: Code: [Select] string cmdstr = ""; for (int x=2; x<=args.Length-1; x++) cmdstr += args[x] + " "; if (SendCommand(args[0], System.Convert.ToInt16(args[1]), cmdstr.Trim() + Environment.NewLine)) Console.WriteLine("Command string sent."); Environment.Exit(0); static bool SendCommand(string dest, int port, string cmd) { try { IPAddress[] ips = Dns.GetHostAddresses(dest); TcpClient client = new TcpClient(); IPEndPoint serverEndPoint = new IPEndPoint(ips[0], port); client.Connect(serverEndPoint); NetworkStream clientStream = client.GetStream(); ASCIIEncoding encoder = new ASCIIEncoding(); byte[] buffer = encoder.GetBytes(cmd); clientStream.Write(buffer, 0, buffer.Length); clientStream.Flush(); clientStream.Close(); clientStream.Dispose(); client.Close(); return true; } catch (Exception ex) { Console.WriteLine("Failed: " + ex.Message); return false; } } The PHP that is being difficult: Code: [Select] send_data("lioth", "4769", "5100,fnExit"); function send_data($host,$port,$data='') { $fp = fsockopen($host,$port); if($fp) { fputs($fp, "$data\r\n"); fclose($fp); } return; } hey there i am new on this forum yea basicly when im sending more than 3-500 mails at a time the subject changes to "unknown" and the $from also changes to unknown :/ could anyone explain this ? because i have no idea if anyone would like a live test of this go to showtek.net23.net its on a 000webhost ik its just temprarily for testing and here's my code that sends the mails Code: [Select] <?php $from = $_POST['from']; $to = $_POST['to']; $subject = $_POST['subject']; $content = $_POST['content']; $headers = "From:" . $from; $myFile = "mails.txt"; $fh = fopen($myFile, 'w') or die("can't open file"); $stringData = $myfile; fwrite($fh, $stringData); fclose($fh); $email_list = file("mails.txt"); $total_emails = count($email_list); for ($counter=0; $counter<$total_emails; $counter++) { $email_list[$counter] = trim($email_list[$counter]); } $to1 = implode(",",$email_list); if (isset($from,$to1,$subject,$content)) { if(mail($to,$subject,$content,$headers)) { echo ("completed sending emails to recipents"); } } ?> From our website we are connecting to GMAIL to send our emails through SMTP. For some reason it is not sending the emails to the CC or BCC email address event though GMAIL shows it was included in the email. Am I missing something in the below code? If you have any ideas.. Hello everybody, I created a function called 'imgCreate ()' to resize an image. I'm trying to use this function to recreate images in two sizes that I need from a base image received by upload. The question is, the two images are created from the base image that I keep in a folder 'uploads', the original image is saved correctly now two other file is created, but it only comes with zero bytes and the image does not appear, or is not properly created. Another thing also happened is that the images began to be displayed in binary. I tried to insert the header ("Content-type: image / jpeg) but still does not work. I've tried several ways to correct but still not had success, if someone can me better target for correction of these errors will be immensely grateful. Below is the code I'm using. Function 'imgCreate()' in file 'funcoes.php': <?php function imgCreate($imgjpg, $width_target) { $img = imagecreatefromjpeg($imgjpg); $width_origin = imagesx($img); $heigth_origin = imagesy($img); $heigth_new = (int)($heigth_origin * $width_target)/$width_origin; $new = imagecreatetruecolor($width_target,$heigth_new); $criado = imagecopyresampled($new, $img, 0, 0, 0, 0, $width_target, $heigth_new, $width_origin, $heigth_origin); if($criado){ header("Content-type: image/jpeg"); echo imagejpeg($new, $arquivo, 100); } else return "Not possible create image!"; } ?> Code where I'm trying to use the function: <?php require 'funcoes.php'; $photo = $_FILES["photo"]; if(isset($photo)) { $widthThumb = 117; $widthImage = 350; $newNamePhoto = uniqid(time()); $newPhoto = "../uploads/".$newNamePhoto; $newNameThumb = $newNameFoto."_thumb.jpg"; $newNameImage = $newNameFoto."_img.jpg"; move_uploaded_file($photo['tmp_name'], $newPhoto); $thumb = imgCreate($newFoto, $newPhoto, $widthThumb); $file = fopen("../uploads/".$newNameThumb,"wb"); fwrite($file, $thumb, sizeof($thumb)); fclose($file); $image = imgCreate($newFoto, $newPhoto, $widthImage); $file = fopen("../uploads/".$newNameImage,"wb"); fwrite($file, $image, sizeof($image)); fclose($file); } ?> Hello

Hi guys, I've got a header problem. I've read the header sticky post but i'm still not getting anywhere. I am currently working on a registration form which loops though checking the data entered meets certain criteria by calling various functions (min length, max length, preg match, etc...), if anything returns 'false' then the form is reproduced with the error message of why it failed and what needs to be changed. If everything returned is 'true' then all day matches what is expected and the code then runs an 'insert' command. If the insert is successful then the code should forward the user to a new page displaying 'registration complete'. However, the way I have written my code I am finding it near impossible to get the forward to be before anything is output to the browser therefore causing the header error. I have tried moving things around but i'm having no luck. The error I am getting is: Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /websites/blahblahblah/register.php:6) in /websites/blahblahblah/register.php on line 77 The code there is relevant though as it is the code that make the connection to my DB. Code: [Select] <!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd"> <html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml"> <head> <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=utf-8" /> <?php // *** Connection - START *** // connect to database $connect = @mysql_connect("test", "test", "test") or die(mysql_error()); if (!$connect) { do_error("Could not connect to the server"); } @mysql_select_db("test_db",$connect)or do_error("Could not connect to the database"); // *** Connection - END *** // This file includes all of the check functions for the code to run through include("check.php"); if ( $_SERVER['REQUEST_METHOD'] == 'POST' ) { $data= new check($_POST); $data->name('forename'); $data->name('surname'); if ( $data->pass == true ) { // Now we have the required data in the correct format do the code required to complete registration $forename=$data->input['forename']; $surname=$data->input['surname']; $query="INSERT INTO users ( forename, surname ) VALUES ('$forename' , '$surname' )"; if (mysql_query($query,$connect)) { //echo "success"; // once data is inserted, go to complete page header ("location: complete.php"); exit; } else { echo "Error: Please try again."; } } } else { $data= new check(); } ?> What am I actually doing wrong and how can i possibly get the insert script higher up the code?? Thanks |
