I'm getting the error "Access denied for user ''@'localhost' to database 'crystalair'" (crystalair is the name of my database) whenever I submit my form which inserts a new row to the database table "order". The same happens when I try to retrieve data from the table using select query. The records show up on the page. However if there are no records on a page, I get this error message.

If I remove try and catch block, it'll tell me exactly which line is giving the issue. So from the above code, the error has to do with "$statement->execute();". This is where the error occurs.
As far as I know, the above pdo statement is correct. Can you tell me if something is wrong with it?

My dad loves these frozen cheeseburgers from meijer so I was gonna write a little script I can run in cron that will check Meijer's website and txt or email or something if they go on sale. Whenever I run the below script I get an Access Denied response from the server instead of the html for the cheesburger page. I'm sure I just need a CURL option or something. Thank You in Advance

Is this typically tied to a single IP using $_SERVER['REMOTE_ADDR']?
Is it a good ideal to also check for a given username but from any IP? I might be wrong, but I assume the value in $_SERVER['REMOTE_ADDR'] is under the user's control.
Obviously, a session wouldn't be ideal as the associated cookie is under the user's control. Do I need to use the database or is there a better way?
Any thoughts or advise would be appreciated.
I've made my own customized admin panel to edit tables. The script worked fine on my localserver(wamp) but is showing this error when i try to update or insert a record ...select and delete is working fine.. Have used same function for update, delete, and insert If anything is unclear please ask me.. ??? |
