PHP - Trouble Posting Unique Checkbox Values That Are Generated From An Array Loop...

Hello, 

I am trying to update my database with multiple array values like this.

$row['enroll_no']

is from table student.

I have attached the screenshot for the page display with form    err1.PNG   12.04KB   0 downloads,    In that If i select checkbox1, checkbox2 checkbox3.. it takes the value for class and section properly, but if i select checkbox1, checkbox3, it takes value for 1st record properly and for 2nd one it takes blank value for class and section. How to overcome this? Please suggest        

hi, i’m currently facing a new problem (i managed to use array_unique function successfully but i face this problem)with my php loop. i couldn’t seem to increment in my foreach loop to get the value of an array.
here is my code:

i tried every method nothing seems to work can anyone help me in this regard please.

Please see the following code:

If I do print_r($hello[1]); within the loop I get all the values of index [1] in the browser although not sure why there are no spaces between the words:   HelloThisLovelyMorning   However if I do the same print outside the loop I only get this displaying in the browser:   Morning   That's no good to me because I want all the values with the index of [1] so I can use them anywhere I want. Any help would be much appreciated.    

I have a database query set up that returns an array. I then cycle through the rows in a foreach statement that wraps each value in a <td> tag to output it to a table.

It works really great, but now I need to access two of the values and add some info to them. The first field returned is an image filename and I want to wrap it in an image tag that also concatenates the image path location to the value. All the images are stored in the same location, so basically I want to take the first value form the array and add the path to where the images are and wrap the whole thing in an <img> tag.

The other field I need to modify is the last value in the array which is actually an email address. For that field I want to make them an active email link so I need to wrap an <a>href=mailto: </a> tag around the value.

How could I modify this code so I could add the necessary tags to these elements of the array?

TWO questions:

I haven't actually CONNECTED and POSTED.  My form has two input fields that combine in a TOTAL field. I notice that the address bar is carrying TOTAL=input1+input2 when it TRIES to connect.  Do I need to include
the TOTAL field in the database if the info is NOT relavant data? the strg and chick TOTALS? 

Will the database accept PARTIAL data from a form that has 25 field with only 6 being populated for testing?

Working on a project for school and I am trying to code a form that feeds into a DB. 

I have been studying the syntax, reading and doing everything I can to get this to work. 

A little help, pointers, direction would be greatly appreciated.

It may be my database structure so I included a image for anyone to see...  and the files.

This is more of a Paypal question, but I'm using php on the listener and hopefully someone has run into this problem.  I'm having trouble finding the correct POST name to use to get the OPTION SELECT for the item on my listener page.

I tried:

$option = $_POST['os0'];

But, I'm not getting anything using that. I've also tried os0_x, on0, and on0_x.

This is what I'm posting to Paypal:

I have a simple db with values.

I want to find all duplicate values and rename them 1,2,3 - so if I have these values for a 'colour' field:

pID / color

1 / brown
2 / blue
3 / red
4 / red
5 / brown

...would result in:

1 / brown1
2 / blue
3 / red1
4 / red2
5 / brown2

...is this possible?

I have a Unique Constraint setup on (emailAddress and pin) to allow multiple email addresses be the same and multiple pins but not the same emailAddress and pin value together (unique(emailAddress, pin))

Anyway, I am trying to generate a pin through a random seed, but I can't get my code to work properly to test if the combination already exists.

Here is the chunk that does not work:

This is always returning $foundRows=0 so always exiting the loop, and giving me a constraint error.

Any ideas? Maybe a better way to do this?

On a page of mine, random tables get generated. The tables consist of 8 characters, so there's 5 . 10^13 possibilities. Yet ofcourse there is a possibility that 2 tables with the same name can be generated, which ofcourse is not desired. So I need an adjustment that can see whether there is already a name that's the same, and if so, make another random name. And if that one also exists, make a new one again. Untill the name doesn't exist yet and it remains.

I have a form which takes details from drop down menus. But what I need is a wild card if someone leaves the selected option value as "all" it adjusts the SQL query to not search that cell so it brings all entries without filtering.

My form looks like this:

Hey you guys need your help... Basically what im trying to do is when the user clicks the getPIN button, the value generated using php is assigned to the txtpin textfield without refreshing the page.... thanks alot guys....

I am having trouble sending information that was entered into a form, on the same page to the next page.

So basically info1 is working i can see the value on the next page after its submitted, but info2 is the value of the input field.

Is this possible to do it like this, or do i have to send it to another page and then to my last page that displays the values?
