PHP - Adding A Textbox Field At Runtime In Php
Hi there,
I am working on a PHP website. The scenario is that there is page where users can enter a Group name and can specify its Members name. A group can have n-number of members under it. We cannot predict how many members will be assigned to a group. So therefore, I have given a link or button under the group name as 'add more member' where users can click and add member names in the textbox at runtime. Please see the Screenshot for a clear idea as to what I am trying to accomplish here. Thank you! All comments and feedback are always welcomed. Similar TutorialsI am building a system where people are able to choose a food menu, they can modify each dish if needed and then say how many of each item they need for the order. So when they pick the breakfast menu, it selects all starters, mains and desserts. Should something need to be edited (sausages changed to vegitarian sausages) the user should be able to overtype what has been populated from the select statement) When the form is submitted, the order needs to be linked to the current job which is in a field ssm_job.job_id but the changes to the menu items need to be stored somewhere for the current order only. This obviously needs to be accessile later so further changes can be made if needed. I am not sure of the best way to go about this as i am trying not to save every item in another database (just trying to be tidy) Any advise on this would be greatly appreciated. I have had help on this project in relation to an sql and the background can be found below, the help has been amazing but as this is a very different question i thought i would start a new thread.
Kind Regards Following from my previous post, i have a questionnaire and within each question it has the options to pick from raddio button (strongly agree, agree, disagree, N/A). For each value of each question i want to pass it into the relevant Field in my database but rather than overwriting the current value i want to be added on to it. (For example if the current value is 2, once the new value (1) has added it will make the new value of 3.). In the actual script there is more than two columns but this is an example just to try to let you know what im trying to do. As you can see i want the ticket number to increment by one every time someone buys tickets. (the ticket number is in a simple table with just id and ticket number) EXAMPLE someone buys 2 tickes name | ticket number John | 1 john | 2 then someone buys three tickets jane | 3 jane | 4 jane | 5 This is what i have. We encountered a problem in manipulating the shopping cart.. My only question is, what are you going to POST from buttons of "Add to cart" to specifically add that particular product to my user cart. We find a hard time dealing with this buttons because it comes up with the same IDs or names. HELP PLEASE T_T This is my first real jump into PHP, I created a small script a few years ago but have not touched it since (or any other programming for that matter), so I'm not sure how to start this. I need a script that I can run once a day through cron and take the date from one table/filed and insert it into a different table/field, converting the human readable date to a Unix date. Table Name: Ads Field: endtime_value (human readable date) to Table Name: Node Field: auto_expire (Converted to Unix time) Both use a field named "nid" as the key field, so the fields should match each nid field from one table to the next. Following a tutorial I have been able to insert into a field certain data, but I don't know how to do it so the nid's match and how to convert the human readable date to Unix time. Hi: I'm going crazy trying to do the following: I'm making a job registration process where the user registers on one php page to the website, must acknowlege and email receipt using an activate php page, then is directed to upload their C.V. (resume) based on the email address they enter in the active page output. I then run an upload page to store the resume in teh MySQL db based on the users email address in the same record. If I isolate the process of the user registering to the db, it works perfectly. If I isolate the file upload process into the db, it works perfect. I simply cannot upload teh file to the existing record based on teh email form field matching the user_email field in the db. With the processes together, teh user is activated, but teh file is not uploaded. Maybe I've simply been at this too long today, but am compeled to get through it by end day. If anyone can help sugest a better way or help me fix this, I will soo greatly appreciate it.
