PHP - Getting Every Combination Of A String And Storing In A Db Table.

Can i make so the mysql columns cant have the same number, such as if the row 1, column 1 have the value 30, and then the row 2 column 1 cant be 30, but can be 31?..

The problem is i have an auto increment id before thoose, and then the stuff being added will just keep being added, but just to a new id. hereby more of 1 type can occur.

61^5 , i guess that would be 844 596 301 rows in table.

Hey all I've found some combination functions out there but they're not working really like I want.

I have an array with some currencies:

array('SEK', 'EUR', 'USD', 'GBP', 'DKK', 'NOK', 'ISK');

Now I want the function to generate an array with all possible pairs:

array(array('SEK', 'EUR'), array('SEK', 'USD') ...)

It must allow for the inverse form: EUR, SEK is different from SEK, EUR.

But trash all pairs that are equal: SEK, SEK or EUR, EUR.

Help me out?

Honestly, for something like this I don't know how to go about creating this script..

So I want to create a script that will generate every combination of 2 numbers that range from 0-749, so 750x750 = 562500 possible combinations, so for example, 0/749, 43/87, 0/0, 1/1, 2/1, 1/2, 500/450, 405/673, etc..

How would I go about starting to write a script that can generate all of the possible combinations and and put them in an array or write them to a file?

Hi.
I  purchased software for a PayPal subscription management system, and it relies on user verification by way of a username (email address) and a hashed password.

I have also developed my own login scripts for an application which also uses a hashed md5 password and all that works fine. I want to integrate my scripts with the purchased software using the supplied mySql database tables.

My problem is that the supplied software goes a step further than a hashed md5 password by applying initializing vectors to the hashed password. I cannot figure out how to modify my login code to accommodate the encrypted password that appears in the database.

It is beyond my current abilities to work this out on my own. I'd really appreciate it if anyone can help.

I've attached my own login script below, and Ive attached what I believe is the decryption code that comes with the purchased software. There is also a database file that relates to this.

Somewhat new with PHP but I think I'm on the right track. I'm trying to search for a serial number on a sql table. I want a response of the serial # and what column its in. There is 4 columns if that helps (id, 30, 32, 31). (serials 002062008002220 002062008002222 002062008002233 are in the table) When I enter in a serial # 002062008002220 (all serials are 16 digits long). I get a blank page to show up...  my form

I have a string (Product1-Product2-Product3#2-4-1) where Product1-Product2-Product3 are products and 2-4-1 are quantities. I am struggling to make a table out of it where products and quantities are shown in rows.

I am trying insert the values of csv file into a table. I want to concatenate the values of some columns of csv into one String column of table by delimiting them my commas.

I need to enter the value of $a[6] till $a[9] into a string column with delimiters and insert into the column col3 of TB1 with value as $a[4].

I have a kind of search and react on my site. The user can search for a number in a column as below

The code works fine but I want to expand the function to get match for other numbers also. The oemnr column today can be 12345 which shows up if the user type 12.... 

I want to expand the oemnr column as

12345/03124/34713, numbers separated with / or another character.

If the user type 03... or 34... I want to find and show 12345 because it is on the same row and corresponds to the numbers on the same row. Is it possible to do in mysql? In php that kind of operation can be done with the explode function but I don't know how to use with mysql.

Hi there,
I have a local server set up on my computer which I have used before and it worked flawlessly. It is running apache with PHPand mySQL set up as services. Recently I attempted to copy a project I have worked on at school onto my server. I have the database up and running, however when I try to run a PHP file it gives me the error:

When I rename that function (which I know is not being redeclared) I get a browser error:

My guess is that it has to do with the function gettext() being available on this machine but not on the machine at school, however I thought PHP was case sensitive?

I am trying to make some adjustments to uploadify.php which comes with the latest version of uploadify (3.0 beta), so that it works with a session variable that stores the login username and adds it to the path for uploads.  Here is uploadify.php as it currently looks:

echo $targetFolder; at the bottom so that I could make sure that the string returned was correct, and it is, i.e. '/songs/nick'.  For some reason though, uploads are not going to the correct folder, i.e. the username folder, but instead are going to the parent folder 'songs'.  The folder for username exists, with correct permissions, and when I manually enter Code: [Select]
$targetFolder = '/songs/nick';all works fine.  Which strikes me as rather strange.  I have limited experience of using php, but wonder how if the correct string is returned by the session variable, the upload works differently than with the manually entered string.

Any help would be much appreciated.  It's the last issue with a website that was due to go live 2 days ago!
