PHP - Problem Setting Directory

I'm working on my first website with a image uploader. I am having problems setting the directory that includes 2 folders. My code is as follows Code: [Select] $upload_location = "uploads/".$user."/".$fileName; $moveResult = move_uploaded_file($fileTmpLoc, $upload_location); It works when I change the code to ... Code: [Select] $upload_location = "uploads/".$user."_".$fileName; $moveResult = move_uploaded_file($fileTmpLoc, $upload_location); How can I get it to work with a second folder? Similar TutorialsI'm using the latest version of XAMPP on Windows and can't figure out why I'm not seeing the correct directory listing when using the scandir() function. The first time i opened the web page I got the correct listing of what was in the directory. After moving and adding files, I opened the web page again and got the same listing I had before i moved and added files. Is this the correct spot to ask this or should I use the XAMPP support forums? I tried $path= 'C:\\xampp\\htdocs\\website\\img\'; $listing = scandir($path); print_r($listing); I had 5 files in the 'img' directory the first time I opened the website and got the correct listings. I then added 10 new files and moved 2 files out and refreshed the page and got the same listings of the original 5 files. I closed and reopened the browser and tired again and got the original 5 files again.
I am using the code below to select a folder for an image upload. It works fine in that it does show all of the sub folders of the images folder but the first two options in the dropdown are . and .. I am not sure where they are coming from (although they do make me think of 'up one level' and 'go to top level option's) but cannot work out how to remove them. Also, I have been searching for a way to list the folders alphabetically but am stuck on that too! Both these php files share a common varible through cookie which is used to keep track of the data retrived by include.php . This variable will be updated each time include.php retrives data . These php code work fine Mozilla and chrome but not in IE . When i checked the cookie value it is same through out without setting . Please help . If a folder is clicked on then open that directory and if a file is clicked on it will download or if its a .txt or picture it will open in the browser. How could I display one at a time on a page--starting from the beginning, and have it so the user can click on the image and go to the next one in line. I am trying to figure out a way to echo the directory name of the script location. I am trying to handle 404 errors to mainly pdf files that used to reside in a different directory but have now moved permanantly to a new directory. I have also tried putting the line in question above the RewriteBase, putting an absolute url for both directories and removed/moved slashes before/after just about everything but nothing has worked.

Why does this code: Code: [Select] require_once "../../media/php/classes/Mysql.inc.php"; Work when I go to: http://mysite.com/API/v1/index.php But when I go to: http://mysite.com/index.php it doesn't work. The require is being called from another class, which I call from the two pages above. The class loads, but in the second link, I get failed to open stream: No such file or directory but the first one works fine.
