PHP - Sending Data Over Udp And Reciving It Using Telnet.

This is driving me insane!

Basically I am simply trying to setup a reoccurring payment, in live and sandbox I get an error once I submit login details

It will show the payment screen, but error occours after logging in with sandbox details, the same if I run to the live site and use an real paypal account

Hi, I'm new to PHP and have dabbled a little but need some help or someone to point me in the right direction if possible.

I have an ajax web-form that sends the inputed data to a php file and then emails the results to the designated address (all working fine).

However, what I am looking to do is have the php file (in addition to the current function) convert the data into XML and then attach the XML file to the email that is sent out.

As mentioned I'm new to php and have a small amount of knowledge so any help on this would be very much appreciated.

I've looked at various cURL tutorials and the PHP manual, but I don't see what I'm doing wrong here. My goal is to be able to send data to test.php and then have that page run a MySQL query to insert the TITLE and MESSAGE into the database. Any comments? :/

unfortunately it doesn't do as i would like.  I'm not sure how to get it to save a new file based on a variable on the form page or from one of the fields in the form.  What i need is a way for a user to submit the form and it save the data into a uniquely named csv file.  I know the code given is for text files, not csv, but that was about all i could find.  If there is any help i would greatly appreciate it.

Hi.  I am writing a web app to control Zoom Player on my HTPC.  I found that ZP supports listening on a TCP port to accept control commands.  The docs say to quit ZP, send 5100,fnExit + ASCII 13/10 to port 4769.  My original client was C# and I implemented it there, works great.  I then realized WTF am I doing using an external .EXE to just send data to a TCP port?  Switched to using PHP's fsockopen.  Alas, that causes an error to pop up on ZP (List index out of bounds or some such).  Perplexed,  I wrote a GUI for the HTPC to just display an ASCII val breakdown of what it receives to compa



So it looks like they both send the data the same.      Any idea why the discrepancy?

Basically what I am needing is when a visitor comes to my site and request info on a product, the form sends the product id or name.   I have the site set up like product.php?Item=26 and the item number changes based on the product. The page items are being populated with info stored in the mysql databse.   I need the email being sent to say something like Visitors Name has requested info on Item 26

This has probably been asked a bunch of times , but :

I only recently started to self learn PHP , and this small project i am making is quite a challange for me.
The scripts below are not realy writen by me , but i wished to tie them together to get a fully working code.

What is suppose to happen is :

In the form i wish to put a special button that puts extra input fields in the form.

After the form is submited ,with whatever amount of feilds in it, the data goes to a processing.php file that sorts all the info gathered and finaly sends all this data formated in to the last file that will be inluded in the index.php.

i already have the code for increcing the amount of inputs but the problem is , all inputs have the same names. Coz of that i get a mess.

What i need is each input to have a unique name or id , that way the processing file would receive different names(id's) with different values(what ever is writen in the inputs by users).

for example:

I have 2 enitial fields displayed on  form.html , i click the button "add new" 5 times and add 5 more input fields.
All this data must be sent to a process.php and on the output write all of this information formated in the last file in a row that will be displayed in the index by useing

I really read a lot about forms and saw examples , but I can't figure out what's wrong. If you have any ideas..

I usually hate to post something like this as a first post...I'd like to at least do an into but I"m stumped and I think it's a totally stupid thing I"m not noticing. Anyway, this is the final step in a three step user verification; this is for a staff user to be verified. Anyway, by now they have already verified their email and entered a random code so I"m only worried about actually setting them to verified status in my database so they can start working on blogs etc.

Anyway, this form is supposed to find all unverified staff members, and allow an admin to easily just click down the list (one at a time currently) and verify the user (ie. setting their database status to verified_staffUser). The username that is supposed to be verified (or declined and therefore their entry deleted) is supposed to be passed through as  $_POST[vnsupUsername]. This is set each time it loops through and prints a new user.

The problem is that it's only sending the final username when I click verify/decline on any user :\. I"m not sure why it's doing this. In firebug on firefox it's showing that the user name is set for each one to be properly in the form...but when I click on it (I am having on my machine) the username being worked with echoed..and it's always the last one that was entered into the database. I have no idea why this is happening ..any thoughts?

Of course I've messed the code up somewhere, but I can't for the life of me figure out where. I have a simple page for someone to enter text in a textbox to save in a database to display on another page. There are 10 textboxes on the page. I can enter text into any and all textboxes and it'll save the data in the database, EXCEPT if I enter text into the 2nd textbox. If there's anything in the 2nd textbox after I click submit, it will delete whatever was in the 2nd textbox and move all data in each textbox (except textbox 1, which stays in the same place) down one element. And it pushes the data in the final textbox off the page (presumably because there's no other textbox to accept its data). Here is the code to the two pages affected. Any help would be appreciated!

From our website we are connecting to GMAIL to send our emails through SMTP. For some reason it is not sending the emails to the CC or BCC email address event though GMAIL shows it was included in the email. Am I missing something in the below code?

I hope it is possible to establish, what I am going to ask Currently I am using a site where I am entering a xml code, that is sent to certain workflow. That workflow returns me a few csv files within the same http session. So simply, there is a page with the TEXTAREA - where i enter xml code and subsequently I click on the Submit button. After that the new page is opened where I have links to csv files. I wonder if would be possible to establish that using php code. I would like to run everything in background, sending xml code to that workflow and get those files. Everything without opening that site, entering xml code, submitin that ,and clicking on each link to download those files. I am not looking for exact answer. Just if you can tell me where I can start. My php knowledge is not great, but I have written a few things so far. So if you can help where to start, I would be more than happy

I would sincerely appreciate any help anyone can give me. I have been
trying to solve my problem for hours and I am not having any luck, so I
thought I would post and see if anyone can help. I am very stuck and am
not making much progress on this project, and I am certain the answer is
very simple.

I am constructing a form to collect data for a specialized purpose. 

The form and program actually work for its intended function, but I am
trying to enhance the user experience by preventing customers from
having to reenter all of their data should there be a problem with any
of the data submitted.

I have been able to do that with the contact form portion, but what I am
having trouble with is the portion which has as many as 400 possible
entries.

So, in a nutshell, if the customers contact data is incomplete or in
error, the form will ask them to return to the page and correct things.
The previous data entered has been saved in the session and the input
value will equal the previous entry.

i.e.

Works perfectly, all well and good there.

On the other 400 more or less entries, I am having a difficult time
tweaking the string concatenation to work to achieve similar results.

There are 4 columns each with $points entries asking for a dimension in
either feet or inches. 

The <input name=>  is one of ptaf,ptai,ptbf,ptbi, appended programatically with the corresponding
row number or data point.  i.e. "ptaf1", "ptai1", etc...  This is produced by the example
below and works perfectly also.

I am trying to add <input value=$ptai.$i> for each field but as I mentioned I
am not having any luck.  It seems as if I have tried every combination
imagineable, but still no luck. My head is spinning!

The closest I seem to have gotten was with this:

But line 17 for example returns this:
