PHP - Enable To Fix The Errors Could Someone Have A Look
Similar TutorialsI have a "system" setup for posting some feedback questions on an internal website. I have it setup to read a field "enabled" which has a 1 or 0. 0=disabled, 1=enabled The script works if I manually change that field, ie it reads the correct question. But need a way to have the questions listed then the one that needs to be shown on the site selected to be enabled on an admin page. Something like a list with checkboxes or radio buttons? How can I have one enabled and make sure the rest are not to prevent multiple questions being enabled? By default, PHP comes with some extensions disabled. Question 1: Is there a command (via command-line) to enable ALL extensions? Question 2: Are there any drawbacks to having all extensions enabled (e.g. slows it down, conflicts, etc.)? Thank you. Can anybody give me an outline of how is it accomplished? If it were the other way around, like the user inputs something in the page, that data could be sent to the server through Ajax and a server side PHP script could update the database accordingly. But how can it be accomplished in the reverse manner also, that when some user does something in one page of a website, its notification is propagated to another page of the site open on some other computer instantly? I'm trying to utilize a PHP script to parse a large XML file (around 450 MB) to MYSQL database into certain structure and definitions of included XML elements. The problem is that the original script uses file_get_contents and SimpleXMLElement to get it done, but the corn job executed by the server halts due to the volume of the XML file. I'm no PHP expert, so I bought this XMLSplit software and divided the XML into 17 separated XML files each at size of 30 MB, parsed them one by one using the same script. However, the output database was missing a lot of input, and I have serious doubts whether this would be the same output of the original file if left not divided automatically and parsed one by one.
So, I've decided to use XMLReader with this exact PHP script to parse this big XML file, but so far I couldn't manage to simply replace the parsing code and keep other functionality intact.

For the past months I am developing a web site. I have the web site running at my Windows pc at home (where I mainly develop it and run it on Apache 2 with PHP (i think 5.3.x or 5.2.x) ) and I have it running live at the web server. I also have a macbook that I develop the same web site occasionally. I am using XAMPP and php 5.3.1 in this case. I keep the code between my two computers (Mac and Windows) up to the same level using SVN (which runs on a linux machine). What I have done a billion times before and in this case also is having the basic libraries included with require_once in one file called "baseincs.php" and then at each file I only include with require_once this one php file. This has been working for years perfectly and in this particular case has been working for months on the exact same code. Yesterday I wrote some (completely irrelevant, HTML GUI mostly) code on the Windows pc and uploaded it to the SVN. Today being at work I downloaded the SVN update to my mac and out of the sudden I get redeclaration errors on every page (beginning with the index.php). I cannot figure this out. I am positive I have not changed anything(!!!) on the index.php or the baseincs.php. I know that these error will manifest if you use include or require instead of include_once and require_once and you include the same file in multiple places in your code. This has not happened. Any help will be much appreciated!!!! Regards, menwn I am writing a script, but keep getting a 500 error page. I've tried various tricks to isolate the problem to no avail. My old system would always send me an email to report the error, but since my new box, it isn't working The major change from my old setup is that I am now using fast CGI I rememeber that there is a log that records errors but I havn't been able to find it if there is one...
