PHP - Using Curl Or Other Method To Access Email Contacts

The code is about making call to the escreen web service using SOAP and Curl with client authentication required. Currently I am not getting any result only HTTP 403 and 500 errors.

QUESTIONS:

1. I need to call the RequestTicket method and pass the XML string to it.
   I don't know how to do it here(pass the method name to call).

2. For client authentication they gave us three certs, one root cert, one intermediate
   cert and a client authentication cert PROTPLUSSOL_SSOpem(it was a .pfx file). Since we are on linux we converted them to pem . In curl calls I could not find way to how to include both the root cert and the intermediate cert ,so I combined them by making a new pem file and copying the intermediate cert and them the root cert and naming it authority.pem .
I am not sure whether it works or not and would like your opinion.

3. For the current code Iam getting the error
   Error no : 77 Curl error: error setting certificate verify locations: CAfile: /home/pps/authority.pem CApath: /home/pps/

 
  If I disable the curl error message,I am getting blank page with page title 403 - Forbidden. Access is denied.

  If I comment out the CURLOPT_CAPATH and CURLOPT_CAINFO lines it gives http 500 error page with the message as content and the following at the top.

I am sitting behind a firewall which blocks the http access to all popular free email providers like

hotmail.com
gmail.com
....

The blocking is done by filtering out the domain names.

So I am searching for a way to access the mailbox by a third domain e.g. mydomain123.com (which is under my control).
I could imagine that there is a PHP code which can be setup on mydomain123.com which accesses the final hotmail.com
mailbox by using POP3 fetches and SMTP sends.

Is there such an PHP intermediate code?

I am trying to add an "add to contacts" button to the user profile page that is viewed by other users but I seem to be struggling to wrap my head around this one. I can create the search user page that populates a list of users based on search criteria and link to their respective profiles using GET.

But now if I have a "add to contacts" button on their profile page, I am struggling with the code to insert this into a contacts table correctly. If the contacts table has a id column, user_id column and contacts_id column how do I insert the id of the user you are viewing into the contacts_id column?

I should have something along these lines....:

My script has 3 classes (that are relevant to this discussion): DB, User and Validate. They are all in independent files and loaded automatically, when required, by an autoloader.
Both the User class and the Validate class have a private variable $_db which is instantiated by their class constructor: $this->_db = DB::getInstance();
At the top of the script I declare new instances: $user = new User(); and $validate = new Validate();
I then call a method in $user: $found = $user->findInUsers ( .... )
From within the findInUsers method I then want to call the query method in the DB class. My problem is that I can't find a way to do this that works.
I have tried $this->_db->query( ... ), $_db->query( ... ), but neither works.

The error messages I am getting a

i wanting users to be able to update there email address and check to see if the new email already exists. if the email is the same as current email ignore the check.

Hello,
I am working with a SMTP class to send an email. It's all working perfectly fine, but when the email is received (sent from the online form), and I open my email and click reply, there are two email addresses. The correct one (which I entered when I sent the email), and my ftp username for the site??

 I used simple php email function but it send an email in junk folder or  spam.
 Can anyone tell me why is this so?

I am working on a web form in PHP which accepts a Paypal Email address from the user.

I need to authenticate (validate or check) if the Paypal email address entered is a valid Paypal email account.
