PHP - Remove Session Even If Browser Is Closed?

Hello,

I am puzzled as to how to get this code actually working, I am using some example code, I want the code to remove the data of the logged in users, at the moment it will remove all users registered in the mysql db.

$_session id knows that the user is logged into the control page, but for the code to remove the particular user logged in from the db, what exactly does this need?

When I remove 1 session item using this it works fine when I select more than 1 item to be removed I get unexpected results, I have checked the outputted html to see what positions get echoed into the remove check box and they are correct, so I guess the problem lies in my remove code

I am using a form with checkboxes named remove[$remove_position] and the positions in the form are correct for each item in the array, but when I select more than 1 item to delete they are not always the correct items only the first 1 selected.
What am I doing wrong here??

hey guys, I am trying to setup a session for a filter  , I have a button that the user can click on or off, the button starts off but when the user clicks on it a new session starts and it stays on until the user clicks it again to turn it off or when the browser sessions ends... Hi, i m playing arround with php sessions and just started afew testing on it (i never actually used them so i m discovering something new) and i would like to know how can you terminate an PHP Session without closing your browser. For testing i did this small code, just to see the behavior:

The code above seens only to kill the $_SESSION's variables but what i would like is to Kill the PHPSESSID cookie/session cookie. is there anyway you can achive that? thanks in advance

each time with new id <--- i can do it by set random()

but the problem i've is how to make it repeat itself

I have a class I use to handle my various DB objects.  I want to close any connections, if needed, in my destructor.  I want to do this even though I already know the connection has been closed previously.  What I am looking for is a way to test the $connection variable I have to see if it's in need of closing.  I can't figure out how to do this.

The above would output "is set" and "here", because in both tests say the already closed connection is still there.  Can anyone offer any help?

i have a script that wrote which updates fields in a mysql database with millions of rows. it just uses a while loop for each row.

now the problem is that i forgot to add something to the script, but i already visited the .php file in my browser.

i closed the browser and when i refresh the database it still seems to be running even though i closed the browser the script was running on....

is this because the script is still cached in the memory or what? how can i stop it?

Hello. I want to display all photos from the database. The problem is that it  displays nothing. I added a foreach loop in html but further it not display. I'am beginner, I hope someone help me where I make mistake. I care about separation logic from view.

Ok this is some noob question here

I have a page that has few separate pieces of php code embeded within html code. Each piece is separated with Code: [Select]
<?php  ... ?> tags, everything works fine.

I need to assign a variable in first (from the top) piece of php code. Then I want to be able to use that variable in all others php pieces across this same page....

I searched and searched and first tried to do it like :

First piece:

I am having trouble resolving an error.

 What I can gather is I can't use "header (Location: 'admin.php')" after i've used session_start(). I have tried to replace the header (Location: 'admin.php') with this:

I have tried using require_once('yourpage.php'); before my <head></head> tags in the header document where I've specified the html information but this doesn't seem to work. I've been advised to use ob_start("ob_gzhandler"); but I am not sure how to implement this.

i'm wondering what the best way is to create a session variable and pass it to an iframe.
i need to do something along these lines, but it doesn't seem to pass the ID. Any hints on how i should accomplish this?
