A B C D First project in php and mysql, I've searched but can't find the answer to stringing together two numbers and a "-" without php giving me the results as it thinks I'm creating an equation. I need the string as text. Example, I need the following as a text string, id_have (INT) and id_have (INT) joined together as id_have-id_want, or, as they will be numbers, 23-45. When I use this; $havewant = $id_have . "-" . $id_have; The result will be $id_have (23) minus $id_want (45), I get -22, not what I'm looking for!!! I need the text string of "23-45" to store in a table. Thanks! foreach ($finalCronograma as $sub) { $row = current($sub); if (isset($result[$row[0]['dataAula']])) { $result[$row[0]['dataAula']]['tempos'] .= '+' . $row[0]['tempos']; } else { $result[$row[0]['dataAula']] = $sub; } }
any help? Hi all, I have a table... id | Name | Downloads | 01 | tom | 5 02 | thomas | 2 03 | tommy | 15 I need a button in my page whcih on submit would resent the 'downloads' column so all values are set to 0, Is this possible and how if it is? Thanks for any advice I have a kind of search and react on my site. The user can search for a number in a column as below $search = mysqli_real_escape_string($link, $_POST["query"]); $query = "SELECT * FROM $table[$i] WHERE oemnr LIKE '".$search."%' ORDER BY model";
The code works fine but I want to expand the function to get match for other numbers also. The oemnr column today can be 12345 which shows up if the user type 12.... I want to expand the oemnr column as 12345/03124/34713, numbers separated with / or another character. If the user type 03... or 34... I want to find and show 12345 because it is on the same row and corresponds to the numbers on the same row. Is it possible to do in mysql? In php that kind of operation can be done with the explode function but I don't know how to use with mysql. Edited February 14 by jiggaAlthough I am deciding on the best route to go on this, I was hoping for any feedback or ideas on the best and simplest approach to the below problem: Here is my table structu old_code_1 old_code_2 new_code_1 new_code_2 prod_code_1 prod_code_2 Each of the following fields has 5 digits e.g. 00045, 12654, etc. What I need to achieve is this: Concatenate each set (of the 3 sets above) data into one variable e.g. old_code_1 + old_code_2 = 0004512654. So old_code_1 & old_code_2 would become a combined data and the same for the othe 2 sets. Then. Once concatenated, I need to compa prod_code_1+prod_code_2 with old_code_1+old_code_2 and replace prod_code_1+prod_code_2 with new_code_1+new_code_2 where matches are found. The new_code_1 & 2 are in the same row as the old_code 1 & 2. So the data is in alignment that way for comparison. Thanks for any insight or suggestions on how to make this happen in the simplest form possible. Hi, I have this script that returns the entire table including column names and the row data. Please help me.. This topic has been moved to MySQL Help. http://www.phpfreaks.com/forums/index.php?topic=313325.0 Hello,
I've been going about reading different posts on here and other forums but so far I haven't been able to come across something that works for my purpose so after all the reading I thought I'd finally just ask. I'm rather new at php/sql queries so please bare with me.
First what I'm trying to accomplish.
I need a form with several fields (options) to fetch information from a table that will then display the results based on the options selected.
- from date
- to date
- employee name
- department
- branch
- product line
In other words, the purpose is to be able to choose a date range (from one day to up to a year or more) and then to be able to choose either ONE employee name to view statistics invididually from a given department and branch or to select a department to view all the statistics for everyone under that given department and/or brach and/or product line.
Now the tricky part is that besides fetching the records, calculations need to be made before the records are displayed and that part right here is what is giving me a huge headache.
This is the query that I have.
SELECT report_daily_id, report_date, emp_id, emp_fullname, emp_dept, emp_branch prod_line calls, tk_time, hld_time, ac_time, tran_calls, work_time, tran_rate, ah_time FROM daily_report GROUP BY emp_id, emp_fullname, emp_branch, emp_dept, prod_lineThe calculations based on the date range and one or more of the other options need to give me the following results. SUM(calls) AS 'Total Calls' SUM(tk_time) / SUM(calls) AS 'Talk Time' SUM(hld_time) / SUM(calls) AS 'Held Time' SUM(ac_time) / SUM(calls) AS 'AC Time' SUM(tran_calls) AS 'Total Trans' SUM(tran_calls) / SUM(calls) AS 'Tran Rate' SUM(ah_time) / SUM(calls) AS 'AH Time'I don't know how else to explain myself past this point but if you have any questions, perhaps I can answer it and give more details. Thank you, I created a simple search box which will query my table and match the input value to one of my columns. two of these columns store comma separated values. if i query a column other than a column which stores my csv i can see my search results. if i query a column which stores my csv i will not see results unless the search value matches the first value within the column. how would i be able to get say the second or third or forth value. here is the code i am using to query the table any help would be appreciated thanks. Code: [Select] $q = $this->db->query("SELECT * FROM table WHERE col1 LIKE 'searchvalue'". " OR col2 LIKE 'searchvalue'". " OR col3 LIKE 'searchvalue'". " OR col4 LIKE 'searchvalue'". " OR FIND_IN_SET('searchvalue', col5) > 0 ". " OR FIND_IN_SET('searchvalue', col6) > 0"); Hi, My company has 240+ locations and as such some users (general managers) cover multiple sites. When I run a query to pull user information, when the user has multiple sites to his or her name, its adds the second / third sites to the next columns, rather than wrapping it inside the same table cell. It also works the opposite way, if a piece of data is missing in the database and is blank, its pull the following columns in. Both cases mess up the table and formatting. I'm extremely new to any kind of programming and maybe this isn't the forum for this question but figured I'd give it a chance since I'm stuck. The HTML/PHP code is below: <table id="datatables-column-search-select-inputs" class="table table-striped" style="width:100%"> <thead> <tr> <th>ID</th> <th>FirstName</th> <th>LastName</th> <th>Username</th> <th>Phone #</th> <th>Location</th> <th>Title</th> <th>Role</th> <th>Actions</th> </tr> </thead> <tbody> <?php //QUERY TO SELECT ALL USERS FROM DATABASE $query = "SELECT * FROM users"; $select_users = mysqli_query($connection,$query);
// SET VARIABLE TO ARRAY FROM QUERY while($row = mysqli_fetch_assoc($select_users)) { $user_id = $row['user_id']; $user_firstname = $row['user_firstname']; $user_lastname = $row['user_lastname']; $username = $row['username']; $user_phone = $row['user_phone']; $user_image = $row['user_image']; $user_title_id = $row['user_title_id']; $user_role_id = $row['user_role_id'];
// POPULATES DATA INTO THE TABLE echo "<tr>"; echo "<td>{$user_id}</td>"; echo "<td>{$user_firstname}</td>"; echo "<td>{$user_lastname}</td>"; echo "<td>{$username}</td>"; echo "<td>{$user_phone}</td>";
//PULL SITE STATUS BASED ON SITE STATUS ID $query = "SELECT * FROM sites WHERE site_manager_id = {$user_id} "; $select_site = mysqli_query($connection, $query); while($row = mysqli_fetch_assoc($select_site)) { $site_name = $row['site_name']; echo "<td>{$site_name}</td>"; } echo "<td>{$user_title_id}</td>"; echo "<td>{$user_role_id}</td>"; echo "<td class='table-action'> <a href='#'><i class='align-middle' data-feather='edit-2'></i></a> <a href='#'><i class='align-middle' data-feather='trash'></i></a> </td>"; //echo "<td><a href='users.php?source=edit_user&p_id={$user_id}'>Edit</a></td>"; echo "</tr>"; } ?>
<tr> <td>ID</td> <td>FirstName</td> <td>LastName</td> <td>Username</td> <td>Phone #</td> <td>Location</td> <td>Title</td> <td>Role</td> <td class="table-action"> <a href="#"><i class="align-middle" data-feather="edit-2"></i></a> <a href="#"><i class="align-middle" data-feather="trash"></i></a> </td> </tr> </tbody> <tfoot> <tr> <th>ID</th> <th>FirstName</th> <th>LastName</th> <th>Username</th> <th>Phone #</th> <th>Location</th> <th>Title</th> <th>Role</th> </tr> </tfoot> </table>
Hi there, I am working on a page. That has all the products listed on it. Every product has a Shipping profile associated with it. Whenever a new product is created, we assign a Shipping profile to that new Product. And its product ID is then inserted into the Shipping profile table. Note: One Shipping Profile can have multiple Products under it. The scenario is that when we create the 2nd product and assign Shipping Profile and insert the 2nd product ID to Shipping Profile, the old value gets replaced with the new ProductID. We just need to somehow append the new ProductID to the existing ProductIDs in the Shipping Profile table. We can do an Update query but that will replace the Old Product ID with the new ProductID. Here we just need to append the new Product ID to the Old product ID. eg ............................... Shipping Profile Table| `````````````````` ShippingProfileID ProductID 1 1,4,6 2 3,7 Now at the moment, the ProductID gets stored but it just replaces the Old product ID. We just need to append to the existing IDs Any comments or feedback are always welcomed. Thank you! I am trying to find a loop type script that starts at a particular row in a particular column in an excel file and keeps adding values in each row until the last value is reached. I have searched and am pretty new to loops. can anyone point me in the right direction please? Hello, I am trying to add all rows in the same column together. So here is the basic scheme: id l column1 1 l 1 2 l 2 3 l 3 Second table id l variable1 1 l 3 2 l 5 3 l 6 I basically want to add 5+3+6 and set it to a variable named '$total'. Would this be done using while loops? Thanks in advance... Hi
I am very new to PHP & Mysql.
I am trying to insert values into two tables at the same time. One table will insert a single row and the other table will insert multiple records based on user insertion.
Everything is working well, but in my second table, 1st Table ID simply insert one time and rest of the values are inserting from 2nd table itself.
Now I want to insert the first table's ID Field value (auto-incrementing) to a specific column in the second table (only all last inserted rows).
Ripon.
Below is my Code:
<?php $con = mysql_connect("localhost","root","aaa"); if (!$con) { die('Could not connect: ' . mysql_error()); } mysql_select_db("ccc", $con); $PI_No = $_POST['PI_No']; $PO_No = $_POST['PO_No']; $qry = "INSERT INTO wm_order_entry ( Order_No, PI_No, PO_No) VALUES( NULL, '$PI_No', '$PO_No')"; $result = @mysql_query($qry); $val1=$_POST['Size']; $val2=$_POST['Style']; $val3=$_POST['Colour']; $val4=$_POST['Season_Code']; $val5=$_POST['Dept']; $val6=$_POST['Sub_Item']; $val7=$_POST['Item_Desc']; $val8=$_POST['UPC']; $val9=$_POST['Qty']; $N = count($val1); for($i=0; $i < $N; $i++) { $profile_query = "INSERT INTO order_entry(Size, Style, Colour, Season_Code, Dept, Sub_Item, Item_Desc, UPC, Qty, Order_No ) VALUES( '$val1[$i]','$val2[$i]','$val3[$i]','$val4[$i]','$val5[$i]','$val6[$i]','$val7[$i]','$val8[$i]','$val9[$i]',LAST_INSERT_ID())"; $t_query=mysql_query($profile_query); } header("location: WMView.php"); mysql_close($con); ?>Output is attached.
