PHP - Help Creating An Image!?!?!

Hello Forums,
So basically I am trying to place text over an image.
It works but the max text size is 5 which is way too small for my needs!
What can I do to increase the size of the text? 
If anyone can help it would be much appreciated.

Hi group,

  I need to create a string to be used by base64_encode to build an SVG file. The source for the string is an image I built in memory. Code: [Select]

Other stuff, draw circles, test, ect.
I currently write it out to disk with: Code: [Select]
imagepng( $img, "$Name.png" );

Then read it back in and process it to create an SVG file.

I would like to avoid writing it to disk, so how can I create a string for base64_encode from an in memory image??

What I'm trying to do is have users upload their event information into a database which would include a flyer.  I don't want the image file to go into the database (other than the filename) rather I'd like it to be dropped into a directory.  In the same script I'd like to dynamically generate a thumbnail.  I have the two scripts and separately they work fine, but I can't get them to work together.

I'm guessing the conflict because the thumbnail script is using $_POST and the mysql script is using $_SESSION.  If so how can I modify them to both use $_SESSION?

The thumbnail script is goes from line 1 - 146 and the mysql portion is the rest.

Well, after uploading the following php file to the server and testing it, I got this error:

Hi, I have a small piece of code that creates an RSS feed using a mysql database. The issue is the page itself is blank however if I right click and view source I can see all the feed there. I want to create a REST  API for my website. What I want to do is to display advertisements from my database on websites that I sell to clients. Their website will call my database for advertisements to display on their websites. Also, I am performing a site validity check where the client's site would send the site URL, site name, and site token to my database for validation. If it returns false then the site will not display as it will be invalid according to my database. I've been Googling this topic all day, but cannot seem to get my head around it. I want to set an API key on my website so that not just anybody can be querying my database. For the advertisement query, no parameters need to be sent from the client websites to my database. Can anyone offer some advice on how to do this?

I am trying to open as many sockets I can against my mail server to test if it is prown to attack.

I have tried to create 2000 sockets, but I can't seem to get it working and wondering if anyone knows whats going on?

I am trying to create a madlibs game ..

I have a txt file with paragraphs in it .. Some of the sentences have the following tags in it <#noun>, or <#verb>, etc ...

I need to parse the file in php and display the content in between the tags to the user.

The user can fill the the words in text box, and the story will be displayed with the new words instead of the tags.

I am new to php. Any help greatly appreciated.

I have decided to try and write some OO php.

I have a simple class with one function. I am trying to instantiate an object of that class using the new operator but get an error.

Write a  class for feeding a horse. The Horse object should keep track of the last time it was fed and calculate when it is hungry. Assume there is another class that checks the horse every 10 minutes to see if it is hungry and if it is, it calls another method which feeds it. There should be about 3 methods on the class, but more can be added if needed.
