PHP - Pause And Run Button In Php Script - Help

I need a little help in PHP. BUT the thing I cant do is pause the output, as you see above I have tried an empty counting loop and the sleep function. Neither work as the pause happens before ANY output and then the div shows up with the merged outputs? Anyone explain to me how to do this and why does the sleep not occur wher it is placed? Now I've been at this with everything but a blow torch these are some attempts below. I've also tried to just href to the page. All that happens is it creates another copy of the index.php file as if it were a download. The last thing I wanted to do was wrap this up as a function and I wanted to try something to do with Isset. But it won't even load the page if I define it as a function and then call it. I know I'm defining and calling the function correctly as I can do an echo function. Surely it couldn't be this hard. I mean all the thing has to do is dang trigger the page for goodness sake. Lol sighhhhhhh...Please help

I've been working on a php script to replace links that contain a query with direct links to the files they would redirect to. I am editing this page (attached) and I'm trying to create another button to an external link. I thought it would be as easy as copying and pasting the text to create a second button but that kills the entire page. Any suggestions on how I might do this? I'm having trouble echoing $year in my script. Hello, I stored a fsockopen function in a separate "called.php" file, in order to run it as another thread when it needs. The called script should return results to the "master.php" script. I'm able to run the script to get the socket working, and I'm able to get results from the called script. Now the problem is, I can't figure out exactly how to write the script that displays the image on an html page. I used the following script which didn't work. Can anyone help?? How would I go about making it to where,, I can tell the script to use a certain extension of php in the script like curl.. ? Thanks I have an application which runs on more than one server and need to launch one PHP script from another PHP script. Since this is different than a function call I'm not sure how it's done. I plan to include parameters in the URL I send and use GETs to pick up parameters in the "called" PHP script. Thanks for sugestions |
