PHP - Help Passing Checkbox Selection Through

in the url string $idc is passing but $name2 is not. $name2 is pickup from a query, I echo that value everywhere in the code and it echo its value but is not passing so how.

Hi, I'm basically trying to write something like the below:

I will define $uri on every page and I want the php to process what to display on the page, ie test 1, test 2 and/or test 3

My website, http://www.LawnBagSigns.com, has a lot of price tables, which I think, are getting bulky and hard to read. Like

this price page here, I think the table might be scaring people away.

So here is what I want to try - have a series of dropdown boxes where the user can choose the details a product one by one

(for example, first the size, then the quantity). I want to do this in PHP and XML, and I want to avoid JavaScript since,

believe it or not, not all of my website's visitors have JavaScript enabled.

My problem at the moment is that the XML document is full of white scape that is screwing over my system, but I don't want

to sacrifice readability by blobbing the whole xml file into one line with no spaces (because if I want to change or add

something... you get the idea).

So my question is, how do I get rid of the white scape?

How can I prevent someone from making an ivalid selection in a form? Lets say I had a select dropdown box and someone saved the HTML source from the browser, changed an item in the list, and changed the action to point back to my server eg. action="testsite.com/index.php". Then they open the file and try to submit the form.

When I try to select more than one value for my report, only one value shows.  I tried a few things, but I'm not having any luck.

I'm trying to do a couple of things using the dropdown list below. I have a table with id, rank, and amount.

1. I need to echo the amount that corresponds to the rank selected from the dropdown list.
2. I also need to put the amount value in a variable so I can do some math with it later on.

I've got the dropdown pulling the rank values from the db just not sure how to make it do the rest I'm trying to do.

Hi, I am trying to create a playlist using a multidimesional array. Where the user will select a song to hear from a radio button and when they do they will hear the song on the url that I have for that song. I am not sure if I am headed in the right direction. I am trying to produce a script that will send out an email but the user can basically choose how often they get this email... I want to give them the option of daily, weekly and monthly. I have the logic down on paper and in plain English it seems to make sense but I am having a hard time converting this to code:

My logic is:

1. find out how often they want to get the email (we will call this frequency, as thats what my database field is called)

2. drag out last updated timestamp (this is called last_updated and is a unix timestamp)

3. some form of compare i.e. if frequency is weekly and $today is 7 days after last reminded alert them

as I say this makes sense in plain English but I'm having a hard time converting it... this is what I have come up with so far:
