PHP - Embed Excel File Into Php Page

Is it possible to read the content of an excel file with file_get_contents. I tried it a couple times. The result looked like this:

Does anyone know of a way of extracting/reading images from an excel file using PHP?

This seems great (http://phpexcel.codeplex.com/) but I can't see a way of reading images from excel files.

I'm new to PHP and got a good big stuff.

I would like to write an image in excel file. There will be almost 600+ rows and each row will have url and qrcode image. I would like to write an excel file which will write url and respective image into the next cell of the url.

Is it possible to write an image in excel file? If yes, can anyone please guide me how? I have read so many post saying to use a pear package but again pear package is not allowing to write jpe/gif it only allows .bmp files. So, pear package is I don't think will work for me. I have also attached an example excel file which is showing the way I require to have an output.

Please anyone if having any idea guide me and let me know.

i get my webpage title in the top of xls file and all the fields in xls file are separated by commas, whereas i want them to be in proper tables.

Help would be much appreciated.

what i want is from bottom to top(equal from bottom of image).

i did try using valign in td property, but still the images equal from top of image

what I am trying to do is use this php script to load the data being submitted in the html form into my database and then populate the database into an excel (xls) file and then e-mail it to my address.
 
Everything works great it populates into the database and creates the xls file perfect. But it is wanting me to download the file. What can I add to the script to have it e-mail the file to my e-mail address INSTEAD of downloading it.

I have an excel file that has several columns with different data and I need to create a form that can upload this excel file and insert the data from the columns into its conrresponding data columns in a mysql database. I know how to create the form but I have no idea how to get the file and tell it to input each cell of data into its corresponding field in the mysql database. Does anyone know how to do this? Any help would be appreciated.

This is a section of my code that goes and gets videos from any video site. What I’m having issues with is having it post a random title, that are all in a text file called titles.txt. What I’m wanting to accomplish is have my script go pull the video embed code, the duration, the tags, etc. Which all works fine until I get to the title part where it pulls locally from the server from the text file. Hi Guys....

I need to export data into excel file. So far its works on IE and Firefox. But if i using Google Chrome it download only php file. Eg(suppose file test.xls but it goes to test.php). 

Why it happen??

The first part of this project was to pull a pdf file which was stored securely on the server into the browser for a user to look at it, but not long after the client asked if I could move the pdf down a bit and put a close button in.   Didnt think anytihng of it until I tried and it wasnt so easy, as the pdf always took over the full screen and I couldnt get it to recognise a div i placed on the page.   So have tried doing it the way below, which has sort of worked but I get a not as pdf error alert.   The user clicks a link to get the page below

I have a script that will export data to excel. After the export, I need the page to reload showing status information, but it does not reload.

What could be causing an issue like this? I think that because the export forced the download file dialogue to open, those headers may be preventing the form from reloading properly, but how, why, and what can be done to resolve the issue?

I need some help and hopefully will respond. I'm trying to put some information to the second row of the excel sheet once extracted. Can somebody help me with this script? I'm trying to move the address line to the second row. Thanks.

I was wondering how I would go about doing a sorting of a new element being added on the page.  This element would have to be alphabetically sorted into the existing elements onto the page.  For example:  I am making a file manager, so when a user creates a new file, it would be sorted into the already existing files and displayed in the spot that it should.   All necessary details would be provided by PHP, so I would only need help with the JavaScript part.   Honestly, I have no clue how I would get around to doing that.  I was thinking earlier that it would involve looping through each class of file_name and getting the text() value.  Then add all of the values into an array and sorting it somehow.  Then it would be getting the <tr> of which file_name is before it, and then append under it somehow.   I'm not asking for any free code, but I was wondering which (JavaScript/JQuery) functions I would be looking for.  I was also wondering if the idea I had would be beneficial or not, or if there were any other ways.  Here is how the files are displayed as is:
