PHP - Count How Many Times A Specific Key Show In An Array.

Hi all,

I am trying to use the Mysql COUNT function to count the number of records in a database where the manufacturer is the same and then generate a list of all manufacturers along with a number of associated records next to their name.

I have got the script below to show the manufacturer in a fetch array but I can not get the number next to the manufacturer to work.

A push in the right direction would be appreciated thanks.

Is there a way to put the value of every 15mins into an array starting and finishing at 2 var times

$time1=10.00am
$time2=1.30pm

$timearray=array($time1, and every 15min interval up to but not including $time2)
        eg  $timearray=array(10.00am,10.15am,10.30am..........1.15pm)

Hey i have created the code below attempting to show a specific members details when their username is entered and the submit button is pressed. but when i enter the username all members details are shown. The code i have used is shown below, can anybody help me with the code to just show the single users details. I have attached an image aswell.

I want to write some code that will get content from specific classes that are in a HTML page.

I.e.

<p class="description">text2</p>
<p>text3</p>

I want to just output text where class = description.

How would i do this?

Hi, got a problem with my arrays, every string gets duplicated 11 times instead of just one time. How to fix this?

hey guys, I am having a small problem and I can't wrap my head around it.
I want users to be able to upload up 10 photos in the database and what I want to do
is check the database to see how many pics they have already and if they have
10, just show the photo with action items but if they have 7 for example,  show the
7 pictures and three upload fields, if they have 4, show the pics and 6 fields and so on...

I have a form where people enter in values and I need these values displayed in the proper format.  I need the output string to have a "<" at the beginning and a ">" at the end but whenever I put the code in to add the < in the beginning nothing shows up.  Here is my code.  I am able to get it to work with just adding the > at the end but it seems when I add "<" to the beginning this is where nothing shows up.

Hello, i am coding a backend portal, this portal will have staff members lets call them 'M1' and each staff member will have a client 'C1'

What is the best way to put this into a database?

do i have a table for Staff? then a seperate table for Members? or one table consisting of staff, with the members details written into the staff's row?

I have the following code that queries a MySQL database and outputs results on-screen.

However, the two var_dump's output the following (in the case of 2 results for the query):

Even though the MySQL table only contains one email per ID, both emails are listed 3 times in $emails, instead of just once. Can anyone see why this is? I'm stuck.

I need to find the earliest and latest times, but there must be at least 3 to count it.

So the above would return 09:00 - 15:00

I thin would need to ensure that a maximum 4 hours inbetween, so I then get something like 10:00 - 14:00 returned

Hello all,

I'm collecting date/time information via a form and would like to convert the info into something that I can stick in my MySql database (a timestamp???).  I'm collecting the current month (variable name: month-- of the form "mm"), day (variable name: day -- of the form "dd"), year (variable name: year -- of the form "yyyy"), time of day (variable name: time -- of the form "h:00"), and before or after noon (variable name: ampm -- of the form "am" or "pm").  Any suggestions as to how to change this into a quantity that I can store as a value and then use to compare to other date/times would be appreciated.
