PHP - List File In Order
Right now I am displaying a list of files in a dir. the files do not output in any type of order I would like them to display either alphabetically or by upload date. I have posted my code below any help would be great.

The default value is: 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12,13,14,15,16,17,18,19 How would I, just for tests, lists the values from the navbar table, by ID, on the page? It deletes the record okay, but if I have: 1 2 3 4 and delete 3, then 4 should become 3 but 4 stays as 4 until it moves two places and then it becomes 3. I hope that title makes sense.... Basically I created PHP script to take data from a database and display in, I then wrote some code to use a drop down menu to order that data. That all worked ok until I tried to utilise some pagination. I can make the pagination work, and I can make the ordering work, but not at the same time! At the moment the code that I have will allow me to order the list and almost paginate it. There are 40 results and I want to display 10 at a time. The file names would be for example;
'01 smiley' '02 dog' '03 cat'Currently I used a 'Drag & Drop' multiple file upload although this just uploads in any random order to my database table, I'd like to upload it by numeric order as above. My problem is how to handle these two api responds and also the functions to use them to place a trade and cancel it. Here is how I get categories for article listing. Article can be written in several categories at once. Means, one can load the file and then generate a list of (links) category compared to the numbers (Ids). So if $category is "1,3,4" I want to get list like this (by reading cat_ids.php): category-name-1, category name-3, category-name-4 With current function I read value for every ID from file in every step. So if article have 10 or more categories script load file 10 or more times. Looking for a solution to do this from a reading file only once. Thanks. If I do it via the file method, how would I update an array, say allowed.php? I have only done this with ASP. My searches on GOOGLE are only showing me ways to upload a file INTO the database, and I don't believe that is the proper way to do it. I have always stored the file (.JPG) in a folder called "uploads" and stored the file name (myPhoto.JPG) in the database. So, if I want to make a Team bio list with a photo, a title, and a description what is the proper way to do that? Meaning, I click "Add Player" and a form with title, description, and a photo upload field appear. The data is filled out, "Submit" is clicked, and the photo is uploaded to "uploads" and all other data is inserted into the database. I had wanted to be able to modify, delete, or make inactive each player, and use a dropdown SELECT menu to choose what player to edit. Any ideas how to accomplish this? I would appreciate the help! Hi, In my mysql database i have a text input option, in the registration form and edit my details form i have a multiple select dropdown list, which user selects options to populate the text input box, which ultimately populates the text field in the mysql database. All works perfectly. The dropdownlist consists of 3 parts <optgroups> first is current selection (what is the usesr current selection)works fine, The second <optgroup> is existing words, what words we(the site) have given as options, and the third <optgroup> is the words that others have used. This is where im having a small problem. Because its a text field when i call the data from the database, it calls the entire text box as a single option in my select list.. I want to break the words in the text field (at the comma) and have them listed each one as an option in the select list. Can I split dynamic list to show 4 images with details on the left side and 4 on the right side? Thank you in advance for help , if is possible |
