PHP - Extracting Image From .swf File
Hi!
I have .swf files that have images in them. I can view them with swf decompiler on my computer but i need to have this functionality on my website. Is there any way to extract images from .swf file with php? Similar TutorialsI have a large text file that I need to search and extract text from. I have some code that somewhat works but is not good for what I need because it only reads one line at a time. I need to be able to echo all code between two strings and continue scanning the entire document. I need it to output all lines of text between two matches for example any text between "Problem:" and "Check:" should be Echo'd and any text between "Check:" and "Likely:" should be echo'd there may be 1 line or 20 lines of text between the tags... I need to print all lines between the 2 determined search strings and then continue through the text file displaying all matches between the search strings in a large file. any thoughts on how I can get this done or point me in the right direction? Sadly my meagre knowledge of php is letting me down a bit. It's a case of knowing what you want the script to do but not having the knowlege of how to 'say it'. So can anyone suggest either a) a better way of extracting the data from the text file (doesn't need to be 100% clean and perfect) b) How can i stop the spaces in the csv (i thought i would have fixed this when i stripped the tags from the string at the start??). Thank you Drongo I have a bunch of pdf's and I want to extract text from the last page of every pdf. I have a function to count the number of pages in each pdf. Does anyone know of a way that I could extract file from a specified file and page number. example: getData('example.pdf', 54); I have html files in which, there are lines of urls starting with http:// (simple text, not hyperlink) without a tag. What is the simplest way to extract them? I'm wanting to extract an image from an external website and save to a location on my web server automatically. The scenario: 1. A user has an order form on our website with a field to paste the URL of a website in; 2. The user visits an external website page, which includes an image; 3. The user copies the URL out of the address bar, goes back to our website and pastes the link into the order form; 4. The user clicks next, and this extracts the image from the external website and uploads it to our website so the image can be seen alongside the order. My questions a a. Can this be done? b. If it can't physically download the image and copy to my web server, can I read the html source of the external website and grab the full URL to use to show the image on my website? I am trying to create a form that allows me to add, edit and delete records from a database.
I can add, edit and delete if I dont include the image upload code.
If I include the upload code I cant edit records without having to upload the the same image to make the record save to the database.
So I can tell I have got the code processing in the wrong way, thing is I cant seem to see or grasp the flow of this, to make the corrections I need it work.
Any help would be great!

Hi guys, This is my problem: I have a csv file let's say have these values: blue,1,2,3,4 red,8,5,6,7 I need to add thes values into a 2d array to be able to use like this: colors[1][2]=2 colors[2][4]=7 Where my first number is the row and the second number is the value within that row. I was wondering if anyone had an idea of how this can be done better. I am new to php and don't know a lot. It shows the text between the tags <h1> and </h1> from the content of a different file Basically I had to start the substr() from the fourth position so it would actually skip the "<h1>" being included, and because I started on the fourth postion I then had to finish four places back to skip the "</h1>" being included.
