PHP - Stuck On Php Update For Mysql

So i have this following code that doesn't work

I am trying to update the content of my website which is all stored in a MySQL database.

Currently on the page I am displaying all the data stored in the database using MySQL SELECT and a while loop. Using JavaScript when the text is clicked the element changes into a text box allowing the text to be edited.

What I want to do is be able to change the data in the text box and then store it into the database updating the current data.

I have more text being output from the while loop below but I just want to get it working on the title first.

Any ideas of why the update is not working?

It echos password changed, but its not updating the password. If I run it in phpmyadmin it works fine... So i'm really stuck.

I have the following code that when used seperately work. How would I write an if..else statement that will make them work together? The following code give me an Parse Error, syntax error  unexpected T_string. The following if my code I have tried,

I've echoed it out and all the variables put out the correct values. The query works except for the pay section of it. It will update the hours, virtual location, and expiration date but it will  not update the pay. It inputs 1.00 when the value echoed in the query is not 1.00. I'm not sure if, because it is a decimal, it changes how the query works. Any help? Thanks.

Hello all, first post here so i hope i'm doing this right and am putting this into the right place.
Im in the process of integrating a blog into my website, mostly it's set up however i'm currently working on the code to update the posts (theres only 2 parts a title and a comments[which is in actual fact the post content itself]). Explanation: header/footer.php obvious
../blog/blogconfig.php holds my mysql connection settings and connects to the sql, this is the same config as is used for creating the new posts which i have no issues with so i dont think the issue lays there. If i run the query on phpmyadmin with dummy data it works fine and updates the entry..
Any help would be very much appreciated as i'm at the end of my tether with this!.

Having trouble where I think I need to provide most of my code to see what is happening. Trying to output a simple table of cameras. They are stored as part of a form with data filled in already.  A user can change and hit the apply button for any camera in the row. The changes should update the db for that camera only (just that one row). The problem is that when I hit apply it doesn't make the change to the row. The exception is the very last row (last camera in the list).  I tried to simplify the mysql update query to just one select (camera_status) to figure out what is going on.

The problem is that if I echo camera_status it is showing the wrong value. i.e. if I change the form select from Enabled to Disabled.  Something wrong with how I'm doing the POST? I appreciate any guidance.

Hi
I currently have this form to update the names of each session in the database.
However how do I go about updating more than one value. I also want to update the 'order' swell as the name so the order in which they're displayed is updated

I want to have another text field next to it for the order which will just be a number but i can't figure out how to update both in the foreach() function

However the dropdown menu in the form doesn't work? It returns an update success message but the value of 'level' was not changed in the database.

Am I missing something?

Hi I have the file "pback.php" which displays a mysql table.
One row allows me to update the data.
If I press "update it leads me to update.php, but there I just get white fields instead of the data from the id requested.
If I type anything in the field and press confirm it opens update_ac but just says error.
What do I do wrong?
