PHP - Please Tell Me What's Wrong With My Form- Please......

I have a form using PHP to submit to MySQL DB and also uses  PHP for validation. It worked before I added the validation stuff, so something must be wrong, but I am not sure what. I don't get any errors.

I am not getting the result I am hoping for. The code below is full code after a form has been submitted containing a member name and amount of credits:

Problem; it returns the else statement although the "teams.team_treasure" is higher or equal to  "$amount"

I currently have a small 2 page message board, the main file is named index.php and the other core.php - I would like to rename the main file with the form to chat.php, but when I do that, the script no longer posts messages, and goes to the website root. Can someone tell me whats wrong?

Why when I rename index.php to chat.php is it not working and falling back to the website root when I submit? any help would be great! I am sure it is something simple, but I am new...

if anyone out there fancy's helping the needy please can you cast your eyes over my mess! and possibly help me find my way out of this maze?

I have developed a code for a login and seems to work well (No syntax error according to https://phpcodechecker.com/ but when I enter a username and a password in the login form, I get an error HTTP 500. I think that everything is ok in the code but obviously there is something that I am not thinking about. The code (excluding db connection):

and I am trying to output

I know my fetch works but for some reason firstname and lastname are only returning the logged in users first name and last name, not the person who sent the message.

So this appears when I try and go on my index.php...

I am trying to create a very basic object but am having troubles.
