PHP - How Can I Make This

I building a system, where i have a customer table where user info is saved, and customer can choose the package like silver, gold, and platinum

customer table:

ID
Username
Password
Name
Address
Active


Now i want to make a table for choosing packages:

package table:

Package_ID
Package_Name
Package_Description
Package_Duration
Package_Amount
Package_Active


1.Now my doubt is, whether Duration can be kept in days/month

for example:
90 days or January, February, March

2.Package_Amount: what currency to be specify.
Because am building a system for international users, what currency to be specify.
(500 INR or 10USD)
 
3. what about upgrade of package: give me some ideas how to handle this.

Please Help me, and i guess i have a design a table right.

ok I need to know how to do this

say I have variables.. like so

$a[] = 12345;
$a[] = 23456;
$a[] = 35424;

what do I have to do to get those variables to combine the value? and make that a variable?

so it would be like

$aCompiled = 12345,23456,35424,

puts them in a string then I can use the variable later on in the script..

I have some code which i think is really inefficient especially as there will be more more conditions to be met.

I was thinking about using s switch but don't know if this is possible or if it's best leaving as it is.

Any ideas?

This code ok in English Language it counts letters fine
but it is not work fine if I insert Arabic text. It counts Arabic encoding characters.

Hi I had it on my old site but forgot what I put in the index.php file.

Basicly, I want something like this:

http://site.com/index.php?go=home

or:

http://site.com/index.php?home

Does anyone know what I put in the index.php file to specify link and where it redirects too?

Basically, All I want to do is save a .txt (doesn't have to be .txt) to my FTP and PHP simple echos it. The .txt is where a message is stored. But when I write the message my self like this:
Hello

This is a message.

- And then upload it to my FTP, PHP echos it like this "HelloThis is a message". Is there anyway for PHP to notice the 'white space'?

If you know of a better way to make a message system, then also let me know

So I'm trying to make a counter that counts how many times a record on mysql database has been viewed. Not a hit counter for a webpage. In other words I have a page that displays the info of that record from the mysql database and within that page I would like to display the amount of times it has been viewed. Would anyone know where I can begin or send me to a good tutorial?

instead of showing the image, all I am getting is "IMAGES_HEADERheader_02.jpg" where the image should be.

I am very new to PHP and trying to learn it, what in the world am I doing wrong??

Hello, I recently inherited my company's website from a former coworker and it's done in PHP. I'm still learning PHP so I need a little help. There's one page that our sales guy goes to to put our specials on the site and it's set to remember the username and password. I'm fine with it holding the username I just need to know how to make it ask for a password. Here is the code

Hey guys. I am building a games website, and I am using ID (example: games.php?id_) to view games with their Title, SWF file to play, and their Image Icon. I am basically fetching information per game using ID that is typed in the URL after my website address containing the '?id_' or '?id='. Can somebody tell me whats wrong with the code I have bellow, because it's not working. I always get parse error (T_STRING) at line 9.

Any help would be appreciated since so far this script has not executed at all. I keep getting an error when executing this entire script. I can't find any errors in it either..but it just doesn't work.

I'm trying to do sort of like a web comics site where you make your own comic, add your own characters, text bubbles, backgrounds, etc.

Problem is I have no idea how I could output that. Can I somehow make "a print screen out of whatever the browser returns" ?. Can anyone help?

A few friends of mine run a little competition between ourselves for a bit of fun. This has been in the past, a sports prediction spreadsheet where we predict the outcomes of champions in various football leagues around the world.   Up to now its always been a very laborious spreadsheet with that my friend can no longer be bothered to do.     is there any way I can do this in php / html?   There would be 8 players predicting the outcome of 6 leagues. We award points for who gets the most, half points for coming close etc.   Any ideas as to what way to approach this would be appreciated. I amvery proficient in HTML and CSS, but a bit of a novice in PHP......but if there is a script or some idea to get this up and running I would be very appreciative.    Thanks

Basically it takes the data from the registration form, validates it and then sends it to the register.php file to insert the data in the database table. I will be a long time before I go live with this, but I want to make this as secure as I can. An suggestions or help will be greatly appreciated.   Best Regards,       John

i been trying to find out how does a forum do this what code is needed ?

im trying to do what a forum would do show 12 post on the first page then give you a "go to page" that list the next 12 or whatever just like a forum word after looking at forum codes i cant tell how they do it lol
