After nearly a week I managed to make it work. Only some validation needs to be done. My next step is to make it work for multiple files, ie. 5. The form will have 5 boxes to upload images and no more. I have tried a few different things with for loops ( ie for $i=0; $i<5; $i++ {...} ) but no luck. I can't think of any solution of a loop to upload multiple files and then email multiple attachment as my code. Do someone can to help me? I think that this what I work isn't hard, but I don't know to do. I need to create in PHP some code which will: 1. In text field I enter some words in 2-3 rows, example word11 word12 word13 word21 word22 word23 word31 word32 word33 and click to button Convert, 2. After click on that button php script will take that words and convert into this mode: word11-word12-word13(TAB here without space)word11 word12 word23 word21-word22-word23(TAB here without space)word21 word22 word23 word31-word32-word33(TAB here without space)word31 word32 word33 (spaces between words will convert into - and between first and second mode with TAB) 3. On that way converted text to be saved into new file which will be with name of first line "word11 word12 word13". I know procedure to make this, but I don't know syntax very well Can someone write me code or part of code, to give me idea how I to make this? Thank you very much, Mladen Hi, I want to place the following HTML statement inside an echo statement, i.e. in PHP I want to output an image that is also a link. <a href="#"><img src="Somefolder/animage.jpg" width="125" height="156" alt="some image" /></a> All ideas will be greatly appreciated. This is a bit of a long shot, but hopefully somebody can point me in the right direction. I have a wordpress website that has a 'Wine List' page, in which it lists over 100 'custom posts' detailing each wine. I have tried out several plugins to convert the wine list into a PDF but none work in the way that I require. So now I'm thinking to just do it outside of wordpress and find a PHP script that may help me. I imagine it would be impossible to simply execute a script at the bottom of a page for it to convert whatever HTML has been generated into a PDF? Or is there anything that would allow me to specify what records from the database to add to the PDF? E.g. for me to type a PHP script with a MySQL command and for that to be converted into a PDF? Thanks if anybody has any ideas what action I should take! hello guys.. i want help from u . i am displaying a table of 5 rows and 5 columns . i want to get a pdf copy of it dynamically. i want to re-use it again for my invoice also . covert in into pdf and then print that file. can u provide a sample code of how to covert it into pdf . Thanks, Debbie I am trying to find out how to convert HTML code to ePub format dynamically, i know it can be done, but i was wondering if anyone had a tutorial i could follow or something, Thanks. In a text box I put in some code snippets that I want to refer to later, but when I display it, it displays it in html. How do I convert the code into pure text so it displays the actual code? If I try strip_tags, that just strips it (and it doesn't work with php). And I can't use strip_tags with conditions, because I don't want to list all codes! Also, the code has both html tags and php code - I just want that whole thing to be displayed as is, without havign the browser try to "read" it. Also if I put this into the text box, <td><?php echo date ("m/d/Y", strtotime($row['code_date']));?></td> then nothing is displayed. If I put this in the box: <input class="button" style="display:inline" name="whatever" type="submit" value="Press here" /> then I get an actual submit button instead of the code! Hello everybody. I have a file that is uploaded by the user that has a series of rows of data in an html table. The columns are always a constant, but the number of rows in the file can change. These rows of the html table are the only information in the file when I am processing it. I need to either convert the file to a CSV file or write the values to a CSV list so that I can then insert them into a database. Any suggestions would be wonderful...I've spent the last three hours spinning my wheels. Here is an example of one row of data from the file: Code: [Select] <tr><td bgcolor=#dddddd class=dataFT >5 (Excellent)</td><td bgcolor=#dddddd class=dataFT >5 (Excellent)</td><td bgcolor=#dddddd class=dataFT >5 (Excellent)</td><td bgcolor=#dddddd class=dataFT > </td><td bgcolor=#dddddd class=dataFT > </td><td bgcolor=#dddddd class=dataFT >DATA</td><td bgcolor=#dddddd class=dataFT >1015020</td><td bgcolor=#dddddd class=dataFT >155498322</td><td bgcolor=#dddddd class=dataFT >DATA</td><td bgcolor=#dddddd class=dataFT >4731751</td><td bgcolor=#dddddd class=dataFT >2011-09-25 11:18:33 (-5:00)</td><td bgcolor=#dddddd class=dataFT >2011-09-25 12:16:50 (-5:00)</td><td bgcolor=#dddddd class=dataFT >0:58:17</td><td bgcolor=#dddddd class=dataFT >0:58:16</td><td bgcolor=#dddddd class=dataFT >DATA</td><td bgcolor=#dddddd class=dataFT >DATA</td><td bgcolor=#dddddd class=dataFT >DATA</td><td bgcolor=#dddddd class=dataFT >Resolved</td></tr> Hi all!!! I could really use some help. I'm burning my brain out trying to figure out the easiest way to go about this. Here is what I am trying to do (in a nutshell) so I could really use full coding examples. I need to create a text area with simple formatting tools such as Bold, Italics, Underline, Bullets, and Numbering. After formatting the text with only those available formatting tools, everything in the text area needs to be converted into html tags. After the conversion, the HTML data that is create is submitted into a single field into a SQL database. Any help will be greatly appreciated!!! Hi
I try to echo out random lines of a html file and want after submit password to whole content of the same html file. I have two Problems.
1st Problem When I echo out the random lines of the html file I don't get just the text but the code of the html file as well. I don't want that. I just want the text. How to do that?
for($x = 1;$x<=40;$x++) { $lines = file("$filename.html"); echo $lines[rand(0, count($lines)-1)]."<br>"; }I tried instead of "file("$filename.html");" "readfile("$filename.html");" But then I get the random lines plus the whole content. Is there anything else I can use instead of file so that I get the random lines of text without the html code?P.S file_get_contents doesn't work either have tried that one. 2nd Problem: As you could see in my first problem I have a file called $filename.html. After I submit the value of a password I want the whole content. But it is like the program did forget what $filename.html is. How can I make the program remember what $filename.html is? Or with other words how to get the whole content of the html file? My code: if($_POST['submitPasswordIT']){ if ($_POST['passIT']== $password ){ $my_file = file_get_contents("$filename.html"); echo $my_file; } else{ echo "You entered wrong password"; } }If the password isn't correct I get: You entered wrong password. If the password is correct I get nothing. I probably need to create a path to the file "$filename.html", but I don't know exactly how to do that. |
